Freshly Frosted Reviews
Freshly Frosted is a fantastic puzzle game worth the price. It delivers some good challenging puzzles and makes you want to eat donuts.
Freshly Frosted provides a relaxing puzzle experience that is perfect for winding down with at the end of the day, enjoying as part of a lunch break, or even as a gentle way to wake up in the mornings. No matter the time, what is guaranteed is a calm break from life, and probably an unavoidable donut craving!
Freshly Frosted is a satisfying and charming puzzle game that has you putting frosting and decorations on doughnuts to deliver to hungry customers. With great music and visuals, and challenging puzzles this game really is a treat!
I should have known better than to doubt the minds behind Tumblestone (seriously, check that game out), but Freshly Frosted blew me away with how much I enjoyed it. This is a delectable artisanal puzzle game that absolutely should not be missed by anyone who is down for a relaxing time with some good brain-teasers.
Despite not presenting any levels of complexity expected for a console game, Freshly Frosted brilliantly accomplishes everything it sets out to do by offering simple and easily understandable mechanics, a lot of charisma and highly challenging and addictive levels, without losing its finesse at any time.

I loved my time with Freshly Frosted and I can't wait to play it more as I attempt to solve all of the puzzles that I skipped. If you're looking for a new single player puzzler to fill your belly, I recommend playing this delicious concoction.
It's not too often a game will work your brain and whet your appetite, but Freshly Frosted manages to achieve that rare double feat.
At first glance, Freshly Frosted actually gave me a start since I was worried it would be some sort of factory automation and optimization sim-hell, and was then so pleased when it was clear that it is merely a smart mostly casual puzzler...
Freshly Frosted isn't the most innovative title of 2022, but it is easily one of the best puzzlers. It's armed with a simple premise, but the way the gameplay constantly evolves, along with a near-perfect difficulty curve throughout, makes this doughnut factory tick at every turn.
Freshly Frosted is a satisfying, charming and positivity-filled puzzle. Its mechanics are extremely simple to understand and yet the challenges presented are quite varied, with a good amount of puzzles ranging from the obvious to the extremely challenging, providing relaxing entertainment and a lot of desire to run out to taste a donut.

Puzzle games are good because you can take just about any premise and turn it into something fun. Building snowmen in A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build, guiding water to create waterfalls in Spring Falls, splicing microbes in Splice… just about anything can be turned into a puzzle. In the case of Freshly Frosted, that’s building donut factories.
Freshly Frosted isn’t going to be recognized for blazing new game trails or crafting mind-blowing narratives that make you think about the human condition in a blistering reality. I’m just making donuts, and I don’t know or care who they’re for. It’s going to be there for me until I don’t need it or want it anymore, and that’s perfectly fine. Sometimes, you just need to focus on what you can control and what makes you feel happy in the moment. I feel happier knowing that I can make donuts sometimes, and, for someone else out there, maybe that’s all you need for today.
Freshly Frosted is a simple, yet delicious sleeper hit of the year.
Overall, Freshly Frosted is a delightful game and has all a puzzle fan would need in a game. Decent puzzles that aren’t frustrating, chill music, and the narrator’s soothing voice make this one of my favourite puzzle games I have played this year. Though the game should come with a warning as it does leave you with a craving for doughnuts.
