With the simplicity of squash and block smashing at its core, C-Smash VRS is a virtual racket sport delight. The bat and ball physics are tricky to master, but stick to the easier Zen mode, or play with a friend in multiplayer and co-op, and there's plenty of joy to be had here.

With finely tuned motion controls, sparklingly simple visuals, and a chilled-out electronic score, it's yet another fine addition to Sony's roster of VR titles. We can even see it becoming a go-to with friends who just want to game and have a catch up. Yet while the core experience is fun enough, its lack of content and currently empty matchmaking experience leaves it feeling like an unfulfilled promise - especially if you're playing solo. We'd love to see an improvement to matchmaking and servers, but until then, C-Smash VRS will leave more of an impact on our battered walls than it will our memories.

The simple premise and excellent execution leads to intense matches that will keep you hooked. Whether you’re up against a friend or a complete stranger, the thrill never subsides. With a focus on multiplayer, the game needs to add more incentives and regular updates to build a community. However. the addictive online loop and replayable single-player options help to make C-Smash VRS an absolute hit!
C-Smash VRS is a game that you will keep coming back to. You can play a level in singleplayer, engage in online matches against someone, and still have fun. However, it could have been a bit better. There should have been more singleplayer content. There should have been ranked play in multiplayer. There should have been more details that would enhance the content, experience, or convenience.

C-SMASH VRS is a simple tennis-like game that would be way better if there was no lag and single player content with AI opponents.
From its banging soundtrack to its pixel-perfect paddling, C-Smash VRS is one of Meta Quest 3's most enjoyable titles, even a year on from its PSVR 2 launch. One more game, yeah?
I didn't like C-Smash VRS as much as I was hoping I would. The presentation sure is great, but that alone cannot save this experience for me as the core gameplay loop left me unsatisfied most of the time.
"C-Smash VRS" is one of the most original sports games for VR. The minimalist look may not be to everyone's liking, but it fits perfectly with the game's electro soundtrack. "C-Smash VRS" creates a remarkable flow and also offers enough variety with its game modes. The ball physics of the virtual squash game are quite treacherous from time to time - if you want to show full physical effort, you should have a sufficiently large playing surface. If we can only hope that a loyal community develops on the Quest and Pico platforms, then "C-Smash VRS" could even establish itself as an e-sportin the medium term.

C-Smash VR is engaging, exhausting and exhilarating. A VR staple that we'll be showing friends for years, it nails the aesthetics, gameplay, and most importantly, the vibe of everything that's great about VR.
C-Smash VRS deserves to sit with pride among the essential VR titles. Especially if you have room to move.
It plays really well, you almost feel that bat in your hand as the ball does what you want it to, and the intensity of the competition is as real as any squash court.
C-Smash VRS is an interesting revival of a forgotten classic, perfectly suited for the virtual reality medium from the active nature of the gameplay to the futuristic visuals. However, it conspires to make the experience frustrating with precise controls, harsh timers, and a lack of solo play modes despite the (doomed to be mostly unused) multiplayer option having a far greater range. It's not quite 6-Love, but it's just about 6-Like.
