It'snot a top quality game, but it doesn't have to be one to conquer the hearts of longtime fans. If you're new to the series, this is just a "good" game for you. But if you're an old fan, KH3 is "the" game you've been waiting for.

Kingdom Hearts III is the game that fans have been craving for all these years but at the same time is a daunting endeavor for rookies to dive head first into. While veterans of the series are used to Kingdom Hearts’ confusing plots lines and odd idiosyncrasies, the great moment-to-moment gameplay and awkward storytelling has a large potential to create a lopsided experience for first-timers. At its core, it’s a truly enjoyable game with adventures to be had, but is unfortunately bogged down at times by its own story.
Kingdom Hearts is still peerless; there’s really nothing else like it.
Kingdom Hearts III is a difficult game to review. It does a lot of things right, from its excellent gameplay to its breadth of content. It also stumbles here and there, with some strange narrative choices and lack of Final Fantasy. It’s a great game overall, but it’s easy to see that it could have been something greater.
Despite all of important missing features, Kingdom Hearts 3 is following the former games footsteps. If you like the JRPG genre and Disney movies, the game contains all the thing you like to see. But if you are not JRPG type of gamer, stay away as much as you can.

Despite its flaws, Kingdom Hearts 3 provides a more than fitting ending to Sora's chapter and its presentation will leave a lasting impression on long-time fans. With careful lessons learned from its past, Kingdom Hearts' future has never been so bright.
Its been a long wait for Kingdom Hearts III, and now that it’s finally here, I can say that it’s a solid entry for the series, and definitely one that fans should check out.
Kingdom Hearts 3 continues to inspire despite a lot of carelessly inserted new disney worlds and attractions. Even when the game doesn't hold up to the expectations after this long wait, fans will still get a worthy conclusion and the solid action-rpg gameplay is still good enough to hook up newcomers.

While it has several problems, Kingdom Hearts III is pure fan service and is an overall great game. I do not recommend it for those unfamiliar with the series, for even if you watch or read a summary of the story, it will not mean as much.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally here, but it ever-so-slightly misses the mark. However, after all's said and done, after worlds have been explored, friends have been made, and keyblades have been wielded – I'm so, so glad it's here.
It could have done with a little more love for us life-long fans of the series.
It's been a very long wait for Square Enix "Kingdom Hearts 3", but the game is now finally here! And I'll have you know that KH III is a wonderful but complicated action/RPG gem, and this is the reason why.
It’s a little hard for me to answer the question ‘does it live up the hype?’ as I wasn’t really hyped up for the game until just before Christmas, so I haven’t had 14 years of waiting to compare it to. That said, it’s a very polished game that is incredibly fun to play, and a game that has no loot crates or microtransactions (at the time of writing this review). A very big plus in my book (as I’m sure anyone that’s read my previous reviews of certain games will know). There is almost nothing bad that I can say about Kingdom Hearts 3. In today’s gaming world, I think that is rare and a testament to the effort put into it by the Square Enix guys. Anyone looking for a family-friendly adventure game to enjoy really needs to check this one out (and play the previous releases as well).
This is a game that wants to delight you. It is unapologetically hopeful, like nothing I’ve ever played, offering a seemingly endless font of positivity that is difficult to ignore. Alas, it is still very much a Kingdom Hearts game, and the staunchly unwavering architecture of it is felt in every U.I element and cutscene.
The lineup of locations are the strongest in the series and I adored the depiction of the Disney worlds as vast playgrounds where you can explore, battle and take selfies to your heart's content. Kingdom Hearts III exhibits quality from every expensive edge, with a presentation that matches Disney’s animated output and a phenomenal score by Square-Enix’s composers.
When the game is over, you're left with a strange feeling of completions and melancholy, and that should be proof enough that you've experienced something worthwhile.
Kingdom Hearts III may not be the tour de force that fans have been craving for so many years, but it's brimming with beauty, variety, and setpieces that effectively utilize a fantastic combat system.
Newcomers to the series will be baffled by the complexity and bizarre nature of Kingdom Hearts III's story. Despite this, if you like good combat and want to visit Disney World, you can do far worse than this title.
I recommend the game even to newcomers, though at least a cursory knowledge of the events of prior titles is mandatory. It’s a must-have for fans of the series, though I’m sure most of the die-hard Kingdom Hearts fanatics have already finished it by the time of this review.
