On the surface, it felt like the stars were aligned to make Mass Effect Andromeda one of my most anticipated games in a very long time. I absolutely love the original trilogy, and the idea that this was going to be a "Dragon Age Inquisition" in space captured my imagination. The problem is, the execution feels rushed, and in the end what I had hoped would be a spectacular game simply has to settle for being a pretty good one.

Everything else, however, is of the quality you would expect of a Mass Effect game. The writing and characters are amazing. The combat is extremely enjoyable, the graphics are gorgeous, and the plot is gripping.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a great game buried under a mountain poor design choices and narrative shortcomings. Everything is more complicated than it needs to be, and the sheer amount of busy work forced upon the player is staggering, but if you can be bothered to put in a few hours doing the admin there are plenty of rewards for fans of the series. It's not the Mass Effect you were hoping for, and it doesn't live up to the high standard set by the original trilogy, but as a jumping off point for a new trilogy in a new galaxy there are enough promising characters and intriguing story elements to suggest the Andromeda 2 might be everything you wished this game would be.

From the perspective of a new fan of the Mass Effect franchise, this game was a huge amount of fun and I never felt myself left out for not having played the other 3 Mass Effect games.

Everything players grew to love about Mass Effect is here but its all the same. Mass Effect: Andromeda doesn't take any risks or go to any serious lengths to differentiate itself from the previous games or stand out among any of the other high-profile releases launched in 2017. Mass Effect: Andromeda is a shining example of how NOT to resurrect a franchise.

With expectations as high as they were pre-release, Mass Effect Andromeda was always going to be set a very high bar, which in many areas it meets. The relationships you develop with your crew, the stunning and uniquely varied planets and the robustness of combat are standout features which keep drawing me back in. Unfortunately, its clichéd and agonisingly short plot has let it down far more than dodgy facial animations and occasional glitches, which for a series that prides itself on epic and engrossing storylines, ultimately results in a mediocre entry to the franchise.

After a five-year wait since the end of Mass Effect 3 and the galaxies uniting against the reapers, the next game in the series provides fans more to discover and another weird alien species to fight. The latest game in the series is set in the Andromeda galaxy and follows new protagonists either Scott or Sara Ryder depending on your in game selection. You are to explore the galaxy as part of the Andromeda Initiative, a program put in place by various species as they attempt to work together to find a new home in this galaxy.

The Mass Effect is not as good as the others. There are still interesting characters, but the story is too linear and the open world formula does not work as well.

Mass Effect: Andromeda attempts to build upon the foundation of the previous games. We see that in the presence of all the weapon ammo patterns and the Nomad. In some ways, like the large explorable areas and the cover-based combat system that’s been infused, and subsequently refreshed, with a good bit of movement and versatility on the skill front, it succeeds.

Despite all the positives Andromeda" is the worst entry in 10 years of Mass Effect. Flaws and setbacks in the narrative, characters and shameful bugs and technical issues and many other problems outweigh the positives from shining and turning the game to a title on par with the trilogy

Mass Effect: Andromeda had a potential to become the greatest sci-fi adventure of this console generation, but it feels a bit better than your average game. Andromeda definitely has some great moments, but more often it's just plain boring and frustrating.

Honestly, I'd like to give Mass Effect a higher score. It's a fantastic game in the areas where it's strong. At the same time, it's also got a lot of problems that should not be this visible in a final release. This ultimately feels like a game of wasted potential, which is saying something because the finished product is still damn good.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is one of the biggest RPGs ever made by BioWare. The game will amaze you with it's excellent narrative and lovely characters. You have a huge world to explore and a lot of things to do. And of course, a charming story to follow. The game suffers from some technical issues and poor facial animations but it won't ruin your experience even a bit.

The game is very fun and you'll find yourself spending hours and hours without getting bored but unfortunately Mass Effect Andromeda having significant quality problem, fighting system and skill tree in addition to dazzling environments also design variety, but complexity in unnecessary things like side missions pushing developers to neglect the main story, Problem with the game that Mass Effect Andromeda is unfinished production with quality problem but when you play it you will find the game not bad at all and definitely enjoyable but when evaluated objectively there will be a lot of problems that cannot be condoned within the core of the game

Whilst not quite living up to the hype following the original trilogy, Mass Effect Andromeda provides us with a solid foundation to relaunch the series away from Shepard and the Reapers.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a game that forgot how to be a Mass Effect game. While it fails to deliver a compelling narrative and has little to offer, It’s the combat and planetary exploration the element that holds together this contrasting experience. The result is a game drifting away in the open and cold space.

Despite all of the flaws with bugs, graphics, story and everything else, Mass Effect: Andromeda is still a wonderful game and something very special. Just like the characters in the game, Andromeda establishes a bold new start for the series, and builds a foundation for even greater things to come.
