Enshrouded Reviews
Enshrouded is a well-crafted survival action RPG that’s great to play both solo and with friends. Exploration lets you gather resources, which you use to upgrade your gear, allowing you to open up new paths and improve your base, which grows a little larger after each adventure. Even the beauty of the landscape contributes to the success of this cycle, encouraging us to stray from the planned path to discover what lies hidden elsewhere. Of course, there’s still room for improvement. Resource management could be less fragmented, the graphics are sometimes inconsistent, and some boss fights could use more polish. These aspects, however, only partially affect the overall enjoyment. In the end, what remains above all is the feeling that you always have a good reason to explore. Another dungeon, a new region, and maybe gathering one last resource for the workbench. And when the day draws to a close in Embervale, you often find yourself already atop a cliff, admiring a magnificent landscape, ready to take flight toward the sun.

Enshrouded is an exemplary entry into its genre, seamlessly combining survival crafting mechanics with ARPG exploration and progression and, in my humble opinion, delivering the best of both. While you can absolutely play the game solo, it’s even more fun with friends, scaling the adventure to your group rather than becoming too easy or outright demanding the extra hands on deck as some other survival-crafting titles do.
From the games of style, Enshrouded is the one that seems the most affordable and also the one that offers side-by-sides to spend your evening to something other than to impose another day of work: many quests, bosses, all with a system of craft and harvesting quite simplified. Full of possibilities of experiences especially if you play in a group, even in duo.

I’ve already spent around 200 hours in Early Access. Exploring the vast world and building bases kept me hooked, and even after completing the story, I still have plenty of ideas for new projects. Numerous updates have also made inventory management much more convenient. The story’s ending leaves me with mixed feelings. I appreciate what I’ve learned about the Builders, but many questions remain unanswered. The new Kindlewastes biome also feels underdeveloped despite its appealing aesthetic. Still, the world is more than large enough without it.

Enshrouded has set a new standard for the genre, and Keen Games has shown the true power of early-access development, turning an addictive survival-crafting game into an action-adventure masterpiece.
"Enshrouded" manages to mask these shortcomings because its core gameplay loop is so coherent.

Enshrouded is a well-crafted third-person RPG with elements of survival, crafting, and a voxel world, where you can spend hundreds of hours building your own base, digging tunnels underground, or exploring a beautiful open map and battling enemies. The game offers a satisfying gameplay loop that will keep you entertained whether you’re playing solo or cooperating with other players. While some elements still need fine-tuning, even in Early Access, it’s clear that this game has tremendous potential—and even at this stage, it’s sure to eat up all your free time.

Enshrouded showcases an excellent fusion of survival elements and creativity, establishing itself as a notable title in the action role-playing game scene. While players eagerly await the full launch, the early access version already provides a significant glimpse into the game’s potential.
Enshrouded is a game that gave me a bit of a rough first impression but fairly quickly charmed me with its clever adventuring and fun decision-making for your character's build. The more I spent with it, the more I wanted to go back and continue my journey in the Embervale.
Despite Enshrouded being an Early Access title, it shows incredible promise; while it would be easy to write the game off as a Valheim clone, it is so much more than that. The game has a notable difficulty spike, but this goes away once someone joins you. The world of Embervale is simply breathtaking and perfectly mixes hyper-realism with the whimsical fantasy. Even some of the game’s most dangerous parts are just a joy to watch, and the game is just incredible.
Enshrouded is a fantastic game with plenty to offer, no matter what your combat or crafting style is. If you're looking for a new co-op game, make it this one.
Enshrouded is one of the greater Early Access games to release, with how much there is to do and see. The story might not be as linear as you’d expect at first, but everything slowly unfolds and becomes clear as you explore Embervale, and that’s also what drives the plot forward. You’re not just trying to survive; there’s a driving force through the story that gets better as you go, and the same can be said for the crafting side, as well as, this also expands as you progress. Enshrouded might not be as hyped as it could be, but it is definitely a must-play for gamers who like a good survival game.
Enshrouded stands as a masterful blend of survival, crafting, and action RPG elements. Its immersive world, challenging gameplay, and cooperative features make it a beacon in the realm of voxel-based adventures. As Flameborn, players’ epic journey to reclaim the lost beauty of Embervale is an experience not to be missed.
Enshrouded is par for the course with most survival games released in early access. There are promising foundations and underwhelming systems in equal measure, but it gets key things right in the form of an engaging build system, a sense of adventure in exploration, and some great quality of life features. Probably more fun in co-op with friends, there’s enough here for most survival veterans to enjoy so long as their expectations are suitably adjusted for early access titles.
Enshrouded may only be entering early access, but there is already so much to see and do in the wonderful world of Embervale. Keen Games did not cut any corners when creating this excellent sandbox. Players will surely enjoy it as it evolves during the early access period.
Keen Games has created a great mix of exciting game world, complex building system and flexible skill system. I already know that I will spend hours building completely impractical but colossal castles.
