The humor and imaginative gameplay make South Park: Snow Day a snow day that I never want to end!

Abandoning all charm and fun that the franchise is known for, South Park: Snow Day! manages to deliver one of the most disappointing games I’ve played in a long time. If you’re a South Park fan, this will just make you yearn for the already existing better games. And if you’re not? All you have to look forward to is mediocre gameplay and unattractive graphics. Your time and money are better spent literally anywhere else.

Combat within the game feels unsatisfying with a limit to the abilities. The jokes within are dated and feels like an AI wrote them after being fed information about South Park. Arguably, the only fight we enjoyed with the game was the final fight and that was because it broke the mold the game had established in the prior chapters.

Overall, South Park: Snow Day! is a mixed bag with its pros and its cons. It hits the nail on the head with the humor and charm that recreates what the South Park universe is all about, but its repetitive gameplay, technical issues, and lack of depth holds it back from reaching its full potential. Die-hard fans of the series may find enjoyment in the game’s humor and multiplayer modes more than the solo adventure. If there was some more polishing done and a more varied gameplay, Snow Day! could have been a standout title, but as it is, it’s best enjoyed in short bursts rather than fuller extended play sessions.

South Park: Snow Day is an authentic adaptation that has a couple of decent ideas, but the drab combat and a short runtime leave it stuck in a snowbank, to be rescued only by the faithful fans of the show.

Is it fun in multiplayer? Not very much. It's also not fun for fans of the series. This game uses the form of a popular world, but does not give satisfaction.

Boring, repetitive and unfunny. We'd rather see no new South Park games than failures like this one.

South Park Snow Day is a fun game that is a perfect fit for Game Pass or PlayStation Plus. I’d wait until it hits one of those services before checking it out.

South Park: Snow Day! is a good South Park game, but it's just a fine one when viewed without the license. The action is good, as is the inclusion of roguelike elements, but the camera distance can make the gameplay feel cumbersome. The inclusion of multiplayer is great, but the lack of local play is disappointing. While the different card combinations and level elements add some replayability, the presence of only five stages make the game feel short; the disappointment is lessened by the lower-than-expected price tag. It's a fun game, but you'll want to temper your expectations.

It doesn't make as much of an impact, but it offers what is needed to entertain.

In conclusion, South Park: Snow Day! isn’t the best co-op hack ‘n slash on the market, but it’s fun and perfectly captures the anarchic humor of the TV series. Despite content shortcomings and the lack of crossplay, it offers a sufficient gameplay structure with classic ideas reinterpreted in a South Park style. With long-term support, it could become an unmissable co-op game!

Shuffling the gameplay deck as we've come to know it in the previous two South Park games creates some interesting Roguelite prospects. The fairly poor variety of available content, however, makes Snow Day! at this stage the poorest member of the "New Kid" trilogy.

South Park: Snow Day! offers authentic writing, voice acting and gameplay that's sure to please diehard fans of the series. It's not a huge game content-wise, but that's reflected in its value pricing.

South Park Snow Day did its best to captivate the essence of the famous adult-rated series but felt ineffective regarding its gameplay.

Put simply, I am hesitant to suggest South Park: Snow Day! to anyone who isn't a fan of South Park. In my opinion, the gameplay isn't solid enough for anyone to have fun with this. This game becomes tedious in a very short span of time. The jokes in the previous two games were a major selling point since they made the otherwise dull gameplay more interesting. Alternatively, the game's humor is nonexistent, and the gameplay becomes exceedingly dull.

South Park: Snow Day! It's a brief, fun adventure full of humor. However, due to the lack of depth in its mechanics, it is a game that only manages to entertain during its few hours of campaign. Even with its post-game content, it is unlikely that the title will be able to captivate the player to the point of awakening the desire to play it again.

South Park Snow Day is passable at best. If you’ve enjoyed the show at any point and are looking to see its characters and setting depicted in game form, you’ll be much better served by what came before it in RPG form. Those are excellent examples of how to carry a property through different media while maintaining its identity and still be fun and worthy of your valuable time on this Earth.

South Park: Snow Days! may sound like the comedy fans love and offer a solid story but finds itself lacking nearly everywhere else as this roguelike struggles to impress beyond its first run.
