Sand Land is ambitious, full of ideas, and clearly wears its admiration of Toriyama's work on its sleeve. Your ever-growing pantheon of Bots is a highlight, letting you explore the world and take on enemies as you please. The town-rebuilding aspect is deeply rewarding, and the game becomes more beautiful as you keep playing. However, the abundance of menus required for crafting, the monotonous out-of-vehicle combat, and the endless fountain of repetitive chatter mar an experience that's nonetheless worth experiencing. I think Sand Land is going to be the infrequent RPG I continue playing after review, but maybe on a better computer.
A stunningly realised rendition of Akira Toriyama's work, Sand Land matches its aesthetics with fun, breezy systems and a charming, if clumsy, tale of war, friendship, and hope.
Sand Land manages the tough task of translating an enjoyable story without overdoing the open-world mechanics in the process. It's rough in places but is a respectful adaptation of Toriyama's work and a pleasant experience throughout.
Sand Land is both a good licensed games, since it relies heavily on fidelity to the source material and good dialogues, and a formulaic open world action rpg, with a static structure and bad AI. It can still appeal to al Toriyama fans, thanks to its love for the original manga, but all of the other players will surely find much better options in both the ARPG genre and in the open world one.

Sand Land wraps Akira Toriyama’s charm in a decent action RPG that serves as an adequate entry point to the Sand Land franchise.
Sand Land is a competent and occasionally excellent anime tie-in game. It's a good way to experience the franchise for the first time, and even if you're not a Sand Land fan, I can see it scratching the itch for a simple, open-world experience. It might be a tad too easy for more hardcore gamers, but for younger players, it seems like a great introduction to open-world gameplay.
The video game adaptation of Sand Land brings one of Akira Toriyama's lesser-known works into the spotlight. It follows the source material well and cleverly expands on the story, but the gameplay is lacking.
Despite the dry environment, a refreshing experience, especially in the first hours. When you immerse yourself in the game and start burning through the story line, you can enjoy it and absorb a good plot and actions of the characters.

Sand Land's vehicular combat is entertaining from start to finish, but bizarre progression pacing and the repetitive nature of the side content makes this a hard sell for those approaching the series for the first time.
Sand Land for Xbox Series X|S not only does a great job bringing one of Akira Toriyama's arguably lesser-known works to life, but is also a lovely way to say goodbye to a man who has had an incredibly huge impact on Japan's manga and anime industry as well as the world of video games. Although it's not necessarily an evolutionary experience on the action RPG front, it should still be a fun ride from start to finish for fans of the genre and source material.
Sand Land delivers an entertaining adventure from start to finish. It gives us many reasons to adore it, from lovely characters to impeccable comedy timing. also vehicle customization and combat is fun. That being said world of Sand Land could have used more points of interests and activity for us to explore and boss fights could have been more challenging. Nevertheless, Sand Land is still worth experiencing.

SAND LAND has one of the best visuals that did the late legendary mangaka justice, controlling the vehicles is a treat to experience but sadly the weak storytelling and vehicles crafting system overstayed it's welcome, making some parts of this game boring, but beautiful to look at

Sand Land is a traditional action-adventure made better by the iconic style and wit of Akira Toriyama. It's also a sorrowful farewell to the maestro who helped revolutionize how the West viewed anime. We're lucky his final outing is this much fun and provides a fitting conclusion to his career.

Sand Land falls victim to some pretty dull combat and level design but is uplifted by the entertaining cast, charming Borderlands-like graphics, and a decent vehicle upgrading system.
With around 20 to 24 hours to complete the main story, and over 35 hours for 100%, recommending Sand Land becomes incredibly easy for long-time fans of Akira Toriyama's works, despite the misstep with Forest Land. Reviving Beelzebub's journey and learning more about this wonderful universe created by Master Toriyama was an immense pleasure, even with its flaws, which become more noticeable towards the end of the adventure.

Sand Land manages to adapt the universe created by Akira Toriyama to video games very well. It has beautiful visuals, magnificent scenery, lots of vehicles and charismatic characters. It's not a perfect game, as the pacing of the journey is inconsistent, the scenery is too large and many empty ares, and the non-vehicle combat is very uninteresting.

Sand Land is a fun title that pays a lot of respect to Akira Toriyama's work. It's a nice tribute to maintain his legacy and tell one of his favorite stories. It does something wonderfully and that's why, if you're a fan of his works, you have to play it. It will put a smile on your face.
