Star Wars Outlaws Reviews
Star Wars Outlaws is an experience that captures the essence of the Star Wars universe, delivering an immersive and visually stunning experience with the characteristics of a heist movie. Massive Entertainment has managed to create an open world that offers players the opportunity to explore the vast Outer Rim in an authentic and immersive way. Outlaws also brings with it some of the recurring problems in Ubisoft games, such as the repetition of missions and the lack of innovation in certain aspects of the gameplay. Still, for Star Wars fans and those who enjoy a good open-world game, Star Wars Outlaws is an adventure worth experiencing, offering memorable moments in a game that respects its source material and offers something worthy to the franchise.

I've traversed vibrant planets and chased after the promise of the ultimate big score. But as the novelty wore off, a harsh truth emerged: beneath its polished surface, Star Wars Outlaws is a missed opportunity, bogged down by repetitive gameplay and a narrative that struggles to find its footing. It’s a game that tantalizes with potential but ultimately leaves much to be desired.
Star Wars Outlaws strives to offer an engaging space adventure but stumbles with clunky stealth mechanics, forgettable characters, and uninspired mission design. While the game excels in capturing the visual and auditory essence of the Star Wars universe, its many flaws make it a frustrating experience rather than the thrilling journey it promises.
Star Wars: Outlaws introduces players to a vast open world where they can truly live in the Star Wars universe. Following the journey of Kay Vess the game excels in exploration, combat, and its unique reputation system. While the narrative has its shortcomings, especially in character development, Outlaws remains an engaging and expansive adventure for fans of the franchise.
This is an excellent start by the Ubisoft bods and I suspect the inevitable follow-up will fare better once more varied gameplay is added into the mix.
Star Wars Outlaws does have its strengths, though—the worlds in this game can sing. You can feel like there is life that is living and breathing in the world—the snowfall of Kijimi, the rain of Akiva; there are strong environments at times that made me feel like I was in the Star Wars universe. It's a game that made big promises, but unfortunately, it is one of the many AAA games that failed to deliver on them. The restrictive gameplay, subpar story, and uncanny valley facial animations make the game hard to recommend at full price.
Though I have criticisms about the game’s writing and mechanics, Star Wars Outlaws does an incredible job of immersing you in the Star Wars universe and will keep you at least somewhat invested in its storytelling. If you’re a fan of the Star Wars formula and want an open-world game set in the Outer Rim, Star Wars Outlaws is the game for you.
Star Wars Outlaws is undoubtedly one of the most impressive games Ubisoft has produced, at least on PC. In general terms, many elements that you would like to see in a Star Wars game are also found in Outlaws. The plot brings with it very exciting and well-planned moments, especially in the last episode. The finale of the story is also presented very successfully.

Star Wars Outlaws rewards exploration and investment in your playstyle, letting you explore the galaxy far, far away as you see fit. Some technical issues and problems with its progression system don’t hold back a great experience, that will hopefully be the start of many more open-world Star Wars games to come.
Ultimately, Star Wars Outlaws’ biggest strength is that it has the Star Wars license, but in terms of gameplay? It feels by-the-numbers for the most part. This is one outlaw that might want to spend some time in the pokey to reflect on their missteps.
Even with the hiccups, Star Wars: Outlaws is a fantastic story that effectively uses the heist genre and never keeps its characters in focus. That said, the side quests are vital to learning more about the world and the characters we have met.
Star Wars Outlaws is a game that wonderfully captures the essence of the iconic universe, but it also falls short in many aspects.

With a big focus on stealth gameplay and cinematic visuals/set pieces to keep you invested, it’s been tough for me to put the controller down. While it has the familiar feel of other Ubisoft games, it’s hard to complain when things feel as refined as they are. As someone who normally struggled with open world titles and being daunted, Outlaws felt welcoming in all the right ways.
Star Wars Outlaw is a dramatic action-adventure game, that takes your adventure to a whole new level with constant action. The graphics are destined to blow you away and the freedom of the open world will keep you hooked to the game for endless hours. It's not so challenging AI is unfortunately noticeable but does not bother the rest of the amazing experiences and the story it holds.
From the graphical presentation, that is top notch, to almost completely bug free gameplay, Star Wars Outlaws is a game hard to find a fault with.
While far from flawless, Outlaws proves that the ultimate fulfillment of the Star Wars game we’ve dreamed of is within our grasp.
Star Wars Outlaws isn't a high-flyer both, as an open world action game and a Star Wars title. For that, the game is too usual in combat, stealth or world design. But Massive Entertainment still does a god job with a high variety in gameplay, an interesting, versatile story and with a friendly main hero and not at last one of the most loveable sidekicks in gaming history.

STAR WARS OUTLAWS had me giddy in points. I was walking down the dusty streets of Mos Eisley, past the hanger where the Millenium Falcon would have been parked up. Walking into the cantina and spotting the blaster mark on the wall which confirmed who shot first. Lots of little details make this visit to the galaxy far far away one of the most memorable of the last couple of years, but these cities felt real in a way I've never experience before, teeming and lived in, this open world game from Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment feels expansive and intimate at the same time.
Star Wars Outlaws offers a refreshing open-world experience with diverse planets and engaging missions. Despite some technical issues and a lacklustre protagonist, the game’s authenticity and the immersive world make it a worthwhile experience for Star Wars fans and newcomers.
Whether players are die-hard fans of the franchise or newcomers looking for an entry point, Star Wars Outlaws truly is something special. It rewards curiosity, encourages exploration, and makes players feel like a true part of the galaxy far, far away. Navigating Kay Vess’s journey does not just feel like playing a game; it allows players to feel like they are actively living in a Star Wars story, one choice at a time. In that sense, Star Wars Outlaws does not just meet expectations; it joins the ranks of Jedi: Survivor and Knights of the Old Republic II as it sets a new standard for what an open-world Star Wars game can and should be.
