Super Mario Party Jamboree Reviews
Unsurprisingly, Super Mario Party Jamboree has not reinvented the series. However, there are enough new elements to keep you entertained for a while. This is also the first time that the Switch's online functions are used in a big way - of course, this is only interesting if you have a Nintendo Switch online account or would like to get one. Some unbalanced game elements, such as the character-specific dice, are no longer to be found in the game and each player must rely solely on their skill in the mini-games for the time being. However, I would have liked the customization options for the game modes to be a little more extensive. Although many external factors (such as the number of rounds) can be adjusted, there are no options for special fields or boards. Those who enjoy party games of the usual high Nintendo quality - with slight modifications - will not be disappointed by Super Mario Party Jamboree.

The minigames are fun, the obligations are minimal, and the classic Mario Party feelings of frustration and euphoria quickly surface by the end of each game. Super Mario Party Jamboree delivers that and a few extras with the Expert options, although they could have been a bit more extensive.

Super Mario Party Jamboree preserves its classic and fun board game mode while adding more amazing mini-games to its catalog. It also brings innovative options for co-op, online, and solo that will keep you entertained for hours.
I could have started with this, but I didn't want to spoil the review: Super Mario Party Jamboree is essentially the ultimate Mario Party. It's like Super Smash Bros Ultimate, offering everything that made the series famous but taken to the next level. The sheer number of characters, boards, games, modes, customizations, and rewards ensures fun whether you're playing solo or in large groups. Playing alone is no longer an issue, thanks to numerous modes that allow for online play or against a competent AI that will either support you properly or offer a challenge. If you're looking for a game to play with friends, look no further—Jamboree is the answer.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is the ultimate return to form for the Mario Party franchise. While there's some stuttering while playing online and the process of unlocking boards may seem a bit tedious, the game is incredibly fun to play, especially with friends and family. The boards are the best they've been since Mario Party 8, the minigames are incredibly fun and addicting, and the variety of different modes will keep you hooked if you're looking for a new experience.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is everything that makes the series so loved and so hated. There were times when I wanted to ragequit and throw my Switch at the wall, and there were times when I cheered at unexpected good fortune in minigames and star placements – and those times often came in quick succession. Super Mario Party Jamboree shows that Mario Party is still a blast to play nearly three decades into its lifespan, which is a pretty neat achievement however you want to look at it.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is the perfect summation of the series' recent journey. Drawing on recent experience as well as fan feedback, Nintendo packs the ultimate party game for Switch. An incredibly full-bodied content offering, thanks to hundreds of mini-games and a sea of different modes that know how to appeal as much to solo players as to lovers of multiplayer experiences. If you have never yet tried a chapter in the series, this is your best chance.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is great fun with friends, with a core experience that works incredibly well, but allows the flexibility to tailor it to your own preferences. There'll be laughter and perhaps more than a few four-letter words flying around in each match. The fact that it has so much beyond the core experience is just icing on the cake.
Of the Switch’s three Mario Party titles, Super Mario Party Jamboree not only provides the best value and the most content, but it’s a refinement of many of the series’ most iconic elements, with a variety of modes for every mood, skill level, and age group.
Super Mario Party Jamboree shows the franchise still has a lot of life to it. The boards and minigames work in harmony to deliver a good party mode. Having Party Planner Trek serve as the story mode is a great choice, as it provides a nice story while giving incentives to beat the mode. Some of the motion control modes didn’t hit as well, and playing online could lead to problems. These minor bumps don’t stop the party's momentum, as Super Mario Party Jamboree is an excellent addition to the Switch’s final years.
There’s something for everyone in this game. Even if you don’t like the randomness of regular Mario Party, you can always try out the Kooplathon or Rhythm Kitchen. The variety of modes combined with the mixture of old and new mini-games and boards makes this one of, if not the best, Mario Party ever made.
The best Mario Party experience a fan of the series will surely have, with many game modes available beyond the classic boards, plus a single-player mode for beginners getting used to the minigames. Super Mario Party Jamboree is definitely the ultimate Mario Party of all time.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is an excellent party game, offering game modes for up to 20 simultaneous players and 110 extremely varied and fun minigames, making it the perfect game to gather friends on the couch. Although some game modes may become repetitive, the attempt to bring different game modes, even considering a single-player mode, deserves recognition.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is overstuffed with unnecessary and uninteresting side content. While the main party mode feels like the strongest of the Nintendo Switch entries, a lack of variety in the minigames and only a few standouts make for a Mario Party that has a strong core, but not much else.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is a slam dunk for Nintendo. In one of the finest entries from the franchise to date, these new gimmicks feel refreshing, while the booming roster helps keep this party popping at all times.
While this isn’t the very best that the franchise has to offer, I sincerely appreciate the massive step up from Super Mario Party and the lessons learned from Superstars. If I had to rank this, I would put it at maybe number four on my list: higher than any of the WiiU, N64 or handheld entries, better than most of the Gamecube titles, but still falling behind 8, 6 and Superstars.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is chaotic fun for the whole family and is the best of what Mario Party has to offer. Unique minigames, fun maps, and the opportunity for a new experience every time make this an all-time Switch classic that everyone should check out.
The Jamboree mechanics and pro rules are both great new additions, and the series is probably at its most charming ever. There is however a distinct lack of outstanding minigames, with a lot of creativity being withheld for the passable online modes.
