LEGO Horizon Adventures is a fine game, but there's no denying there could've been more to it as it's repetitive at points even within it's short playtime, all the while looking beautiful in blocks.

A good game for LEGO lovers and perhaps for Horizon lovers. Maybe with a gameplay that is too simple as well as difficult. A must with friends!

LEGO Horizon Adventures is a parody of Horizon Zero Dawn; but at the same time it is a love letter to the universe created by Guerrilla Games. Although TT Games is not behind the project, it is clear that Guerrilla and Studio Gobo have maintained the style of many other productions from the veteran British studio, with humor as their flag. If you like LEGO games and the Aloy universe, this is an adventure that you should not miss, although at times it is a little too simple.

While it’s not quite your usual LEGO game, it does feel like it’s still standing on its own as a fresh take on the formula. LEGO Horizon Adventures refines it back, opting for a jovial run at the Horizon Zero Dawn story that feels like a fun reintroduction to the series, especially for younger players. Seeing the world of machines brought to life in LEGO speaks volumes to just how well it translates, and undoubtedly while this isn’t what many might expect, it still feels like a fun time for the series if you can brave the price tag.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is a new installment in the series of block games that is well worth seeing. The Sony masterpiece has been adapted and shortened for children and impresses at first glance with an impressively detailed game world with razor-sharp textures. We can look forward to great lighting effects, vivid environments and a convincing atmosphere that definitely captures the Horizon flair. The battles, sneaking elements and climbing sections are also really fun, but have of course been greatly simplified to appeal to younger players. The implementation of the giant robot dinosaurs is also convincing all round, as is the design of the familiar locations. However, these are a little too linear for our taste, even if we welcome the fact that there is no open world. The overall variety in the gameplay is also typical of LEGO, but the latest spin-off once again shines with its humor and the local and online co-op features. All in all, LEGO Horizon Adventures is a successful block game - graphically even one of the best. However, you shouldn't expect any great innovations or real challenges and the fact that the world is so beautiful, but the areas are very limited, unfortunately leaves the potential for more unused.

The announcement of Horizon Zero Dawn getting its own Lego title came out of left field, but playing Lego Horizon Adventures is all one needs to put any doubts and concerns to rest. Making Horizon's world much lighter and kid-friendly through the lens of Lego was a most unexpected but welcome surprise, not some cynical spin-off. Burch and the rest of the cast seemed to have a lot of fun portraying their characters in a more comedic tone. At its worst, the gameplay wasn't perfect; it needed additions from both the Lego and Horizon worlds to balance each other out. But even so, it doesn't matter if players are newcomers or established Horizon fans; everyone should play Lego Horizon Adventures.
Even the good things about LEGO Horizon Adventures still come with some major caveats. As someone who loves Horizon: Zero Dawn and who loves LEGO games, I was really hoping that a combination of the two would be something special. Instead, we have LEGO Horizon Adventures, and for the life of me I can’t figure out why it exists.
LEGO Horizon Adventures may have some flaws when compared to other titles in the LEGO franchise, but it fulfills its main purpose well: to entertain. The game is a great gateway for casual players and children to explore the Horizon universe.

Likewise - it’s not the best LEGO game, nor is it the best Horizon game, but there’s definitely a charm to the combination of the two. Even when they’re not at their best, these are two IPs that shine, and I’d happily jump into some co-op for this game any day.
LEGO Horizon Adventures offers a fun, lighthearted spin on the Horizon series. The trademark humor and charm of LEGO games are all here. While the game stylistically nails translating the world of Horizon into LEGO, the simplistic gameplay, repetition, and lackluster level design hold it back.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is a captivating take on the Horizon universe, bringing the series’ signature adventure and combat to a world built entirely from LEGO bricks. With lighthearted humor and a charming visual approach, the game successfully balances traditional LEGO elements with the unique essence of Horizon. It’s an accessible and fun experience for fans of Aloy’s story and the machine-dominated world, as well as new players, offering a campaign that amplifies the joy of exploring this colorful and creative universe.

LEGO Horizon Adventures successfully brings the action-packed world of Horizon into a lighter, more accessible form without losing the essence of what makes it so special. The game’s writing adds to the experience with well-crafted humour, with the narrative packed with plenty of comical moments that make the world and characters all the more endearing. For those who have followed Aloy’s journey since the beginning, there are plenty of subtle nods and winks to discover too, and believe me, the game isn’t shy at poking fun at itself. It can be guilty of being a bit simple in places and the IP doesn’t offer the same depth of characters that you might see in similar LEGO titles, but there’s no doubting that LEGO Horizon Adventures achieves what it sets out to do: offer a fun, visually stunning, and humour-filled adventure that draws players into Aloy’s world in a whole new way.
Lego Horizon Adventures approaches the Horizon universe we love from an alternative Lego angle and manages to draw us into the world in an entertaining way, even if it is a bit oversimplified.

This is a gorgeous world with plenty of detail within levels that feels quite hollow and lacks both the excitement of exploring Horizon Zero Dawn and destroying the world, which is usually pieced together in a LEGO game.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is a double-edged sword of bricks. It looks unbelievably great, transports the template superbly and for the first time really brings a Lego world to life, in which there is definitely a lot to discover. However, the levels remain far too dull and offer no surprises or excitement and barely make use of the game's mechanics, even if the battles are really fun.

Lego Horizon Adventures is a lovely looking title that will be instantly familiar to Lego game fans while different enough to offer a new challenge to Horizon fans.
LEGO Horizon Adventures disappoints despite its humorous narrative. Repetitive levels, limited combat, and a lack of character variety make it a far cry from what a LEGO game should be. While the visuals are nice, the gameplay is stale and unimaginative. It's a missed opportunity for both the Horizon and LEGO franchises.
LEGO's aesthetic perfectly matched the Horizon formula, delivering a fun, relaxing and calming title, LEGO Horizon Adventures
