Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Reviews
Tomodachi is back, and it’s never been better. While the character creation is so nearly perfect, Living the Dream is a welcome trip down memory lane for fans of the original. It builds upon everything that made the 3DS original so special, creating an upgraded adventure that’s filled with even more odd interactions, silly situations, and laugh-out-loud lines that will have you coming back to view this microcosm of the weird and wonderful for countless hours to come.
Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream might not be the most in-depth life simulator around but its personality and sheer randomness makes for a good time.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is an excellent life sim I can’t put down. Nintendo clearly listened to criticism and feedback since the last Tomodachi Life and offers plenty of variety to keep people coming back. Each day brings its own challenges, thanks to the personalities you’ll cultivate and watch grow on your island, so it’s enlightening to help each Mii find what they want and pursue it. There’s quite a bit to do, too, so be ready to pull out your island design tools. Once you catch the remodel bug, all you want to do is make the perfect destination for your Miis.”
If you enjoy quick progression, don’t mind restrictions, and appreciate offbeat humor, this game might click with you. Still, a tip: it’s best enjoyed in short bursts, where its repetitive elements are less noticeable.
