Critic Reviews for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced
More than just a shinier version of the same game you remember, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced brings what was already one of the best games in the series up to today’s standards.
There is an ebb and flow to Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: for every positive change the remake offers, it feels like there's a negative just beneath the surface.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a well-made, but inessential remake that loses more than it gains.
If you enjoyed the original adventure, chances are you will love Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. It keeps everything that made that game so special and adds more than enough new content to make revisiting it worthwhile.
All said, I regard Resynced with the exact same sentiments as Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Resynced goes beyond the scope of a traditional remaster and adjusts the content of Black Flag to make improvements to the experience (what you’d expect for a remake).
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced offers (almost) everything you could want from a remake. It looks stunning, adds worthwhile new content, makes loads of smart improvements, and the simple joys of being a ruthless pirate on the open seas haven't faded with time. $59.99 at Amazon $59.99 at Amazon $59.99 at Target Check Best Buy
More importantly, it avoids the design pitfalls of recent RPG-era Assassin’s Creed titles, delivering a focused experience that never feels padded or bloated. After spending over 40 hours with it, I came away not only impressed, but genuinely reminded of why I fell in love with this series in the first place.
