Stellar Blade Complete Edition Reviews
This port, despite the sacrifices in performance and graphics, proves (yet again) that the console can handle almost anything . Stellar Blade Complete Edition offers a fantastic gaming experience, allowing you to play however and wherever you want.

Stellar Blade: Complete Edition is a good port of a solid game. The story is fine and forgettable, and the characters work but not well enough for you to care about them beyond the fact that there are at least three different endings depending on a few choices throughout the adventure. The adventure itself will drive you to keep playing, as the fights are great when combined with a combat system that works, even though it doesn't seem like it would work on paper. The presentation is also excellent on the Switch 2, making it a good buy for Nintendo-only fans who enjoy solid ports of proven games.
Stellar Blade is everything it appears to be: an apocalyptic story with demanding combat that includes a bit of fanservice, though it doesn’t rely on that at every turn.

Shift Up has done an impressive job bringing Stellar Blade to Switch 2, preserving its excellent combat and sharp presentation despite the hardware limitations. Frame generation helps the action look smoother, though responsiveness suffers. The story remains forgettable, but this is easily one of the console's better ports.
Despite some drawbacks, Stellar Blade stands tall as an impressive and enjoyable action game that occupies a nice niche in the Switch 2 library. Rewarding exploration, thrilling combat, and tough but fair difficulty carry this game far and make it an easy recommendation, even if its story can be a bit bland and the visuals aren't always up to the task.I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a higher-budget game that favours exploration and combat; Stellar Blade excels in its implementation of both and makes a great first impression as Shift Up's entrance into AAA game development.
The Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade is competent but struggles to hit the same heights as the original.
Shift Up had already proven its skills last year with the PC version of Stellar Blade. The challenge was greater this time around, but it's fair to say that achieving a better result would have been pure science fiction.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a valiant first step in porting a great game onto Nintendo’s newest console. There are some visual compromises that do not interact well with the game’s known input lag, but much of that sluggishness is content that can take some getting used to. This is another excellent port of a high-fidelity modern title that other developers and publishers should look up to as they consider porting their modern titles onto the Nintendo Switch 2.
A game for fans and the consumer’s joy and awe. An example of what games can and should strive for.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition brings to the Switch 2 an action game that is unmatched on Nintendo’s hybrid console, combining a technical and satisfying combat system with memorable boss fights and artistic direction full of personality, all in an edition packed with content. There are certainly some drawbacks, from frame rate drops and artifacts to a less-sharp picture on TV, not to mention a storyline that doesn’t quite measure up to the gameplay and repetitive side quests. But none of this prevents Eve’s adventure from remaining enjoyable from start to finish, especially in handheld mode.

Stellar Blade makes a very solid landing on Nintendo Switch 2: the fast, weighty combat takes a while to get going, but accessibility options like Action Assist keep it approachable, and the port holds a stable 60 fps in both docked and handheld mode. Some vegetation had to be cut, platforming can feel fiddly and the plot twists are telegraphed far in advance. Still, anyone who loved NieR:Automata or Bayonetta should give it a try, especially since a free demo is available.

Stellar Blade is an excellent action game that shines through its fast-paced, challenging, and highly satisfying combat. Although its story lacks depth and some visual issues affect the experience, particularly in handheld mode on Nintendo Switch 2, its strengths outweigh its shortcomings. With spectacular battles, engaging mechanics, and rewarding gameplay, it is an easy recommendation for fans of the genre.

If you haven't played Stellar Blade yet, the Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 is a real treat. In addition to including all previously released DLC, this edition features a collaboration with Bayonetta and takes advantage of the console's capabilities, including the Joy-Con 2's mouse controls.
