Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered Reviews
Quite simply, there is more value to be found here than in many sixty dollar titles that line store shelves.
Letter Quest Remastered not only manages to successfully combine the wild pairing of Scrabble and RPGs, but also manages to make it incredibly fun.
Letter Quest Remaster is admittedly not going to bode well with every Wii U owner out there, but if you're seeking a title that channels the basic fun of classic tile games such as Scrabble, and at the same time has the potential to educate and entertain a wider audience, there is arguably no better game available on the eShop right now. Letter Quest is filled to the brim with content including a stack of levels, a long list of quests and achievements, and many unlocks to enjoy. By the time you complete Grimm's journey, you'll be a qualified wordsmith.
All in all, Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered is worth your time and money. While the gameplay is simple and effective, the RPG and customization elements manage to offer an invigorating spin that will attract nearly any gamer.
Though it may be initially enchanting, it won’t take long before Grimm’s spell wears off, leaving players wondering if getting some pizza is really worth all of the hassle.
Letter Quest Remastered is definitely worth your time with an abundance of content and customization features, a sweet soundtrack and simple controls.
Even if the gameplay might require some variety after a while, The Letter Quest is easily recommended to anyone who wants to try something that walks away from the norm.

As a mobile to console transplant, Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered comes with predictable concessions, such as a basic visual style and a star based grading system. However, it's a decent breath of fresh air, which fans of both language and RPGs should enjoy.
Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered has some decent gameplay, but the game seems focused on little other than continuously grinding until you're bored of it.
With oodles of charm, shockingly-addictive yet easily accessible gameplay, Letter Quest Remastered: Grimm's Journey is one of the best family-friendly puzzlers. It's G-R-E-A-T.
The unique twist that Letter Quest offers with brawler and RPG elements makes this a truly engaging and addictive title
With all of this in mind, I'm pleased to say that Letter Quest Remastered does a pretty fine job of carving out a place for itself in the lineup of Switch gamers looking for something more casual. If you like to get out your thesaurus and flex your vocabulary while having to contend with the obstacles your enemies love to throw in your path, it does a fine job. What helps distinguish it is the level of strategy you'll be able to employ while doing so.
As bizarre as the idea of Grim Reapers, turn-based battles and Scrabble-like wordplay all together sounds, Letter Quest Remastered really makes it work, and enjoyably so.
I am pleasantly surprised that 'Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey' has been (rather quietly) brought over to the Xbox in a remastered form. Yes, it is available on many other systems, including some that are easier to carry in my pocket, but it’s the kind of thing that can still be popular with family and friends despite being solely single-player. This is a tough and rewarding puzzle game, and its word/RPG combo is probably one of a kind.
This is a strong debut by developer Bacon Bandits, and while it looks quite simple, the balancing of a game that relies so heavily on the randomness of letter tiles to form its core mechanics can't have been easy. And yet, with very few exceptions, I never felt hard done by the luck of the draw.
Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered is packed with content and will make you feel incredibly smart no matter if you're spelling out 10 letter words or giggling at the fact that you just killed a ghost by writing "FART." There is some educational potential here too but primarily you should be picking this up because it's a cute, fun game that is easy to play and a joy to master. It's not particularly long but the challenges, quests and collectibles are pitched just at the right level to keep you engaged long after the main story is over. Plus you'll need to get all the stars to unlock the mysterious final comic page…
Letter Quest Remastered is a very fun puzzle/RPG option for PlayStation 4 and Vita owners. After playing the game for 10 hours for this Letter Quest Remastered review, I’m still enjoying my time with the game and aim to get all trophies very soon. If you’re looking for a nice game to play between all the action releases on PS4, then this is the one you need.
Indie release Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey Remastered has a lot to offer, and it is a game you can play for hours and hours non-stop. I have been playing almost daily since I got started with my Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey Remastered review, and I can confirm that it’s a highly addictive game! While it does not have a platinum trophy, there is not a single missable trophy in the list!
Letter Quest Remastered is an enjoyable little game for the short while that it lasts.
Letter Quest Remastered is a fun twist on the traditional word puzzle game by introducing RPG elements, although the game begins to run out of fresh ideas, the foundation of this game was such fun that it was still a blast to play through. The game needs a chance to flesh out its ideas more but in the mean time I suggest you get the dictionary out and play this game.
