I've only played through the good karma story of Delsin, but I'm definitely replaying Second Son again on the evil side to see how different the evil powers affect gameplay. As an added bonus, I won't have to worry about accidentally killing civilians to negatively impact my karma and I can attack all protesters and street musicians with zero guilt. And I'll get to dive back into those side quests once again to clear out the DUP out of every district. Forget working on my backlog this next month or so; I'm going to soak in as much inFAMOUS as I can.

Infamous is a good game. I don't know about great, but "good" is enough to be the best in the series, and the best exclusive PS4 has to offer right now. With 100% completion and new missions to come there are plenty of worthwhile hours to be spent with the game, and it's definitely worth picking up if you're a fan of the series or the genre. The powers are innovative and a lot of fun, I just wish there was a bit more to do with them, and a more compelling story that perhaps took itself just a little more seriously.

Infamous: Second Son isn't going to revolutionize how you play open world games, but just because it doesn't bring many new ideas to the table doesn't mean that it isn't a blast to play

I'm glad I had my PlayStation in time, because inFamous: Second Son might be the first platform exclusive to make the system worth buying.

Second Son's sky-high production values do most of the heavy lifting, but beneath the flash are solid systems and a well-acted story that's easy to recommend to franchise fans and newcomers alike.

Infamous: Second Son builds on the best of the previous games in the series, even while mired in repetition.

Even though Sucker Punch still hasn't evolved the moral narrative of the Infamous series, Second Son is thoroughly enjoyable game. The abilities are awe-inspiring, the combat is easy to understand and master, but most of all, it's fun to play. Whether you choose to enjoy Infamous: Second Son as the hero or the villain, Sucker Punch once again shows just how great it is at developing exciting superhero adventures. We can only hope that next time around, we actually feel the weight of our decisions, and are compelled to choose by more than carrots at the ends of ropes.

Second Son is a worthy entry in the inFamous Series. More importantly, Sucker Punch now have an interesting protagonist in Delsin Rowe.

Infamous: Second Son is a great-looking game that definitely takes advantage of the PS4's new power and abilities. Unfortunately, its combat needs a bit of tweaking and the boss battles need shortening. Even so, you'll go through quite a lot of great moments in the new title from Sucker Punch.

Infamous: Second Son is a fun, funny, and positively gorgeous game. The actual gameplay could have benefited from a bit more variety, but the game does the job well enough to be an obvious purchase for anyone with a PS4.

There is no question to me that inFamous: Second Son is the best game in its franchise... unfortunately the game is held back by the same problems which have always held inFamous back.

Despite the neat ending afforded by the epilogue, here's to hoping Sucker Punch will give Delsin a sequel that addresses some of the detractors of Second Son and builds on the awesome foundation it's laid down for the future of the series.

Second Son is a focused open-world game that offers terrific graphics and enjoyable abilities, but it would definitely benefit from a little more variety.

Infamous: Second Son is the first real reason to jump completely into the next-generation of consoles. If you wanted to show someone what next-gen can do, this is the game to show them, with great image quality and amazing lighting/particle effects on display. A magnificently-realized Seattle is your playground and players have a host of abilities to run, fly, and fight across it. Delsin Rowe is a charismatic protagonist and the Sucker Punch has pulled out all the stops on PlayStation 4 to make his first adventure a fun one. It's not perfect, but hopefully we see him again.

Infamous: Second Son is a solid entry in the franchise, but doesn't do a whole lot to move the series forward other than presenting a new, far more likeable protagonist capable of harnessing multiple powers in a gorgeous representation of Seattle. It may look and sound next-gen, but its gameplay takes a few too many cues from the last.

'inFAMOUS: Second Son' is a gorgeous open-world super-powered adventure but one that doesn't innovate on the story or gameplay front.
