Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection Reviews
Ezio’s trilogy helped build Assassin’s Creed into the giant franchise it is today thanks to its fantastic storytelling, amazing characters, and gorgeous world building. And while all of that is still here in The Ezio Collection, the lack of meaningful improvements and any sort of substantial bonus content make it a tough compilation to recommend.
Not a great trio of remasters (although also far from the worst) but Assassin’s Creed II’s best qualities still make it one of the highlights of the franchise.
There is no doubt that Ezio is one of the most charismatic heroes in video games and his adventures are soaked up. Of course they accuse the passage of time, but the pack is a collection of imperishable adventures.

Three unforgettable adventures that you can now enjoy in ports that perform very well and offer some improvements in their jump to Nintendo Switch, such as larger texts when playing on a laptop. Of course, there is no new content, nor have the graphics or control been revised since the previous edition of 2016.

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection on Switch features three great games to play on the go, but there're some performance issues that hold it back.
While the port to Nintendo's console isn't perfect, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection still features impressive performance without too much compromise. The Switch version is a must-have for fans without other consoles, but some technical issues might push some players to the collection's PlayStation or Xbox version instead.
An arbitrary remaster collection that fails to do justice to the memory of the originals.
While there is definitely nothing groundbreaking about these remasters, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is the perfect excuse to play through these fantastic gems of the last generation all over again.
A great reintroduction to what are arguably the most iconic games in the Assassin's Creed franchise. The Switch Edition allows for anyone to play the game the way they want; TV, handheld, or with the kickstand. Each game looks great however you want to play.
In short, this collection is a great way to open up to Nintendo's audience.

I'm glad I was able to mark these off my bucket list of games I wanted to play but never got around to. Whatever I had to sacrifice to be able to play these games on my Switch was worth it. The story of Ezio Auditore starts a little slow, but by the end of his third game I was ready to seek out the next game. Everything can feel a little outdated compared to newer entries, but as someone who has never played these games this was a great way to experience them.
This Ezio Collection won't be the most unmissable remastered ever, but it certainly can't be said that Ubisoft has done a bad job.

Despite the fact that it cointains three great games, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection feels a bit rushed, and has quite a few technical weaknesses. Also, while the trilogy is still fascinating in its own right, the comparison with the latest entries in the Assassin's Creed series shows just how much Ubisoft has refined the formula since then, especially when it comes to the combat.

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection wasn't exactly heavily requested, but here it is anyway. While the trilogy is starting to show its age, this is unquestionably the best way to experience it if that's something you want to do. Some minor visual hiccups aside, each instalment of Ezio's story is present and intact here, and, quite frankly, having them all in a single package is an incredible amount of game for your money whichever way you cut it.
The Ezio Collection is a great bundle with three great games, but that's really all it is. Newer fans of Assassin's Creed that have missed out should absolutely check this out but fans that experienced it years ago really don't have much of a reason to pick this up.
Though a muscular and complete offering, it's difficult to believe that with the two of the series most highly regarded entries included in this package, that Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection didn't receive a far better remastering than what we have here. As it is, this trio of Ezio-era titles only boasts limited appeal to those who have already sampled its enduring setting and notable delights.
The same frustrating, loose free-running from the older games is present in all its rage-inducing infamy.
The Ezio Collection is a solid package of three incredibly well-designed games. Probably the best set to remaster for the new generation, but the port is not the best, and if you already beat them all, this is more a trip down memory lane than anything else.
