There's a lot of value here for the price, and even if you could buy each of these games separately for five bucks apiece, I'd still recommend picking up all of them.
Jackbox is back once again and it’s better than ever with a sequel to a fan favourite, a Family Fortunes-style quiz and perhaps the best game Jackbox have ever created. Only a couple of duds, which still do have their moments, let it down.
The Nintendo Switch is steadily increasing its plethora of party games, and The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a perfect addition to zany multiplayer experiences. With five unique titles from which to choose, its charming presentation and hilarious challenges more than make up for its sometimes uneven mechanics. You'll be screaming all night… in laughter, of course.
While this game is a great set-up for hilarity, it's regrettable that it can't always execute its own punchlines. However, it's an excellent title if played with the right crowd. It's a great selection of party games, and is worthy of a place in a Switch library accessed by groups of friends. Due to the nature of its controls, however, don't expect much in terms of portability.
There's an odd dissonance found in the five social games that make up Jackbox Party Pack 3. With each new Jackbox Party Pack release, the included games increase in production value, but diminish when it comes to actual substance. Scripting is at an all-time low for the franchise, replaced by the unevenness of a book of Mad Libs.
The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is an excellent collection of games perfect for parties.
The Jackbox Party Pack 3 brings a couple of great party games to almost any device you have, while a few included aren't quite as good as others as a package deal, it's something fun to bring to any party.
Overall The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a nice little collection of party games to enjoy as long as you have a solid internet connection and 2+ friends with their own web browser of choice. With the portability of the Switch, playing with friends has never been easier. The unique controller scheme takes some getting used to, and some of the games are better than others, but if you are a party game fan then The Jackbox Party Pack 3 would be a great addition to your Switch library.
The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is bursting with fantastic multiplayer games and it's a big step up from last year's offering.
Jackbox Party Pack 3: Such a great pack of games. Fakin’ it can be really fun, Murder Party is hilarious, Guesspionage is interesting. Really great pack that needs should have 3+ players.
I had a number of incredibly funny moments during my time with the game. The presentation is spot on, it has some funny writing and it allows you to quite easily play an eight-player game because of the use of a phone as a controller, which isn’t something that you can say about many games out there. Just make sure you do have a stable internet connection, as it is required. Overall The Jackbox Party Pack 3, as a package, is certainly a compelling one and undoubtedly is a great addition if played with the right crowd.
Jackbox Party Pack 3 is very entertaining and great to play with friends. It fits extremely well with the Nintendo Switch's portability. I wish there was a way to play without WiFi, but the Party Pack won't take up too much data if you use a mobile hotspot. If you don't have it yet, Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a great addition to the Switch library.
I haven’t stopped playing since I got the game and every time friends come over I ask “Have you seen the new Jackbox Party Pack yet?”. If you’re looking for a new party game, Jackbox has you covered.
If you want to keep the party going then this is a great addition and if you haven't yet tried the games before, it's still a solid entry point.
