In spite of its shortcomings, Destiny 2 shines thanks to its replayability. There are many different ways to enjoy the game, both alone and with friends. As a solo player, I've even come to familiarize myself with different players, as we went through a Strike mission and later attempted and failed the Leviathan Raid. (Advice: Do not attempt the Leviathan Raid with strangers.)
Destiny 2 comes to PC to shake up the torpid loot shooter scene, and it's all the better for it.
The unlocked framerate is the real gamechanger in Destiny 2. Overall, it looks stunishing, but Activision should have presented better the lore of this series to the new PC community.

Destiny 2 has its share of issues, a lot of them to be frank, but it's still an entertaining adventure that the developers have properly improved.
Destiny 2 feels more of an expansion than it does a sequel.
With a better story, better characters, QoL improvements, and more interesting and varied missions, Destiny 2 was a better game than its predecessor on consoles, and it is even moreso on PC. This is the definitive Destiny 2 experience, offering 4K visuals at 60fps or higher with smoother and more precise controls.
Big, bright, bold, and bursting with content and heart.
Destiny 2 is a significant improvement over the original and its expansions in that the game makes more sense this time around. The campaign, cooperative and competitive game modes come together to form a more cohesive and focused experience.
Marked improvements in style and story, coupled with Bungie's always excellent shooting, make this continued space epic a winner. But that never ending grind, though...
Destiny 2 is everything you could ask for in a sequel. The systems of the original Destiny have been tweaked and tuned. The graphics quality is superlative. Destiny 2 feels less like a grind, is easier to get into, and is a superior project to the original Destiny in almost every way.
If a slick, beautiful shooter is keeping you up at night for a month, isn't that sometimes enough?
The improved endgame combined with a far more satisfying campaign makes Destiny 2 an easy recommendation for folks interested in an online shooter.
