Embers of Mirrim is still a very interesting game that brings some cool ideas to the table. Even though there was some frustrating moments with some of the glyphs and the waterfall section, many of the puzzles and secrets kept me engaged and made me want to see what was next. The developers did a great job of teaching the player the mechanics of the game, as well as steadily infusing new things into the mix so as to keep the proceedings from becoming stale. The story is sparse with zero dialogue, but the game world is unique and beautiful with awesome backgrounds and impressive lighting effects. Finally, the fully orchestrated soundtrack is fantastic throughout. If you're looking for a good game with an attainable Platinum trophy, and you're able to resist the urge to throw your controller at your TV a few times, then Embers of Mirrim is worth a look.

Embers of Mirrim came out of nowhere to be one of the best platformers in any console generation. It will give the player the sense they can do things they never thought possible, and the feeling of self-satisfaction upon beating that boss, finally crossing that tricky section, or reaching a new area is so profound here, it's stunning. Even if you aren't a fan of platformers, this one is a must-try.

If you're in the mood for a platformer set in a fantasy world that will challenge your thumb control, offer unique twin stick gameplay, and satisfy the trophy hunter in us all, then Embers of Mirrim is for you. However, the environments will feel run of the mill and “samey” and the puzzles won’t take much thought to solve.

Embers of Mirrim is a fun puzzle platformer on PlayStation 4 with plenty to do and some clever puzzles to keep you busy until the end. It has a good trophy list and solid graphics and an excellent soundtrack, all for less than $20. You should definitely add this one to your collection!

Embers of Mirrim is a fantastic platformer. It's beautifully made with nice, crisp controls. The Ember system is a huge highlight that offers challenge and a ton of fun. The puzzles and bosses can be a little challenging towards the later part of the game, but offers a ton of content in the form of platforming, puzzles, boss battles, and secrets to find.

Overall, I’d say Embers of Mirrim isn’t a game that you’d appreciate when you’re looking for good graphics and decent story, but if you’re looking for a platformer title which has unique mechanics, then this this game is just perfect for you.

Embers of Mirrim is a beautiful looking game with a unique approach to platforming, and outside of the challenge getting a bit frustrating late in the game, it's a solid title worth checking out on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One.

I greatly enjoyed my time with the game for my Embers of Mirrim review. It's a solid platformer with a slight learning curve due to how you need to control both embers at the same time, but once you get the hang of things, it's a very fun experience. There's plenty to do, a Platinum trophy and lots of fun for less than $20. What's not to like?

Embers of Mirrim is an ambitious game. It combines visual storytelling with mechanics that make the player think about how to get through obstacles, and also has a touch of fast-paced escape fights that, while aiming to fill the moment with tension, ultimately falls flat

Embers of Mirrim is a solid puzzle platformer. The parts that involve individual thumbstick coordination can be tricky and frustrating at times, but the platforming and twin-stick puzzles provide just the right amount of challenge. It's also forgiving enough for all skill levels, so everyone can enjoy it without getting too hung up on certain parts. Platforming fans, Embers of Mirrim deserves your attention.

To my surprise, the game is in the TOP10 personal purchases on the Nintendo Switch this year about the game I didn't hear quite smoothly until news of the forthcoming release on our website, and I think it only played into the hands of the project. Embers of Mirrim turned self-sufficient, interesting and most importantly original platformer, in which is conceived mechanics and cute main character makes you empathize with him, even in the relatively quiet moments of the game, the game is not Russian language, but the text in the game, that is, all the scenes which see the players do not have dialogues. Embers of Mirrim deserve whatever it drew the attention, indeed, so good and kind of projects is less.

Though it was hard to distinguish myself on the screen at certain times, I was able to prevail and truck on. With the top-notch visual design, I really enjoyed experiencing the atmosphere that the developers created. So whether you are jumping over chasms, pouncing on weakened bosses, or scratching your head on a hard to solve puzzle, you are sure to have a great time playing through this beautiful and challenging title.
