The Call Of Duty franchise has found it’s way back to earth in the renowned war-based shooter series latest release. Yes, boots are back firmly on the ground as Sledgehammer Games take the reins of the series in Call Of Duty: WWII. As the title states we become reacquainted with the WWII roots that once saw the series prosper and packed into the game we see a heartfelt campaign, the forever popular zombies mode and COD’s famed multiplayer. The developers have ditched the exo-suits, boost jumps and laser weapons for this particular installment and it’s unquestionably done the series a favour in doing so.
Chilling out at the base, not being shot at is surprisingly amongst the best parts of WWII...
In general we can say that we were in front of a complete, new and well-studied title. Of course we are not in front of a war simulator, it is clear, but COD is not born for this purpose. It wants to be an arcade game and in this it manages quite well. Moreover, thanks to the introductions of modes such as War, or spaces like the Headquarters, the title also tries to renew itself a bit, trying to get rich with new contents. In short, a game that finally manages to meet the needs of the veterans of the saga who needed to leave the futuristic, to return with their feet on the ground. A title for everyone, who will know how to be loved by the supporters of the saga and that, perhaps, will also be able to be appreciated by those who are looking for a historic FPS arcade.

Call of Duty: WWII is a true return to form for the series and stands out as one of it’s best
Call of Duty WWII is a great package, and a good title to pick to revisit the series if you so happened to fall off the wagon a few years back. Daniels and his platoon’s journey made me wish for more campaigns like it, and it’s a fun affair to blast zombies with a few buddies. Sledgehammer Games has given the franchise a good boost. We will most likely see another Call of Duty next year, and whatever it is, I hope the series sticks to their guns because this definitely paid off in the end.
Finally came Call Of Duty WW2 and I thought, here is maybe where they go back to their roots, they show us that they are listening to these reviews, and the comments of their fan base...Nope...Not at all…
I can quite happily say that Call of Duty WWII is the best COD game that I have played in terms of the single-player experience. I wish it had of been a little longer, but It is not as short as some games in the past. The multiplayer is also a lot of fun, but if you have been playing Modern Warfare Remastered, you might not find you want to jump ship. For those thinking that there are no good zombie game modes that Treyarch did not create, you will be delightfully proven wrong with this game. As a complete package, COD WWII is one of the best games in the series and is one of the best WWII shooters that I have ever played. If you are sick to death of crazy sci-fi shooters, like I am, this game is worth every single penny!
Everything COD WW2 does is a step in the right direction for the series – returning back to its World War roots, the new “War” mode in multiplayer, and guided quests in zombie mode.
Returning to the origins of a franchise is always an excellent idea, but there is something like we are really playing something new, something that not only has the challenge for veteran players but also a bridge for new players entering the franchise.

Call of Duty: WWII is a return to the franchise's roots, but not in the way many players would like to. The story campaign is good, but there have been better in the series. Still, it's worth to go back on the World War II battlefields.

Call of Duty: WWII is a story of comradery through war and the struggle of men on the frontline - even at just a basic level. From casual game modes to hardcore and the addition and a fresh feeling Nazi Zombie mode, WWII has a lot going on and it's all good.
Call of Duty WW2 is an uncomplicated and extensive recollection to the roots of the series that fights with some major technical problems and an unexciting campaign. If you're looking for some long-term motivation in the multiplayer part of the game you'll get the best COD since Black Ops 2.

To wrap this up, I didn’t expect Call of Duty: WWII to be this spectacular. It’s been a while since we got an emotionally driven narrative World War II game in this caliber based from actual events. Despite the inclusion of loot boxes (or crates/Supply Drops), Sledgehammer Games did an amazing job with Call of Duty: WWII bringing one of the best cinematic experiences in a first-person shooter this year.
Call of Duty: WWII provides a stellar package that brings the series back to a place where it really did excel and I appreciate the option to get a modern title based on the era.
Call of Duty: WWII is a superb return to form for the series, and the best addition to the line-up of Call of Duty games since World At War.
A solid and life-breathing addition to a previously waning franchise, Call of Duty: WWII plies fans with the gameplay the know with enough bells and whistles to please franchise fanatics and newcomers alike, despite not quite reaching the hallowed ground of the series best.
Call of Duty: WWII is a breath of fresh air for the series. Though it doesn't do anything too over the top, this title delivers. A compelling, narrative driven story spearheads the alright Multiplayer and exciting Zombies mode. A must for any FPS fan or anyone who loves a good story.
