Agents of Mayhem Reviews
As a spin-off and follow-up to Saints Row 4, Agents of Mayhem is an imperfect start that wields enormous potential. The agent-switch mechanism is so effective in encouraging player strategy that I'm not willing to write it off yet. But if there's anything to learn from Volition's past, it's that the pressure to reinvent and outdo itself is still very much on, and even more so now with Agents of Mayhem's future.
If subtlety was a person, I'm pretty sure the Agents of Mayhem would tell them to "suck it". It flies its flag of in-your-face attitude with pride and does it so well, that you can almost forgive it for making really lame jokes about things like Uranus. If you're looking for some unadulterated adult fun, then I recommend becoming an Agent of Mayhem today.
Agents will lose most with its humour, juvenile, distracting and frustrating.
Agents of Mayhem is succesfully trying to buy the Saints Row series more vacation time. Volition has shown once again that they're best at making "cool" games where impossible does not exist. This time, they also tried to make a better quality genre mix, which introduces some freshness.

Agents of Mayhem is a game that tries and accomplishes a lot of things, but a general lack of ambition and mechanics that are often sluggish weigh down the overall experience.
You would expect the team behind Saints Row to make something with more verve and fewer grey hallways, but here we are with Agents of Mayhem.
There's so much to like if you're a fan of action cartoons but Agents of Mayhem is let down by repeated use of locations and annoying bugs.
Despite its shortcomings, I enjoyed my time with Agents of Mayhem. I would love to see a patch in the future that would allow online cooperative play, but I can also understand why Volition elected to focus on making this a single player experience first and foremost.
Overall, Agents of Mayhem is incredible fun, but having played Volition's other games, this title seems to be lacking a certain "panache" that their others games had in spades.
Saint's Roverwatch: come for the combat, stay for the satire, and bail when you're bored.
Where they're globe-trotting government agents, and prone to enter fits of gravity defying rage.
If you're craving an open world sandbox with a light hearted story, Agents of Mayhem is the game for you.
Agents of Mayhem delivers high-octane action with an enticing character progression system that has you tweaking and testing out fun and efficient upgrades in combat. Once the battle is over, however, you're left to either wander a listless city out of the compulsory desire to complete every tedious task or grab a vehicle and drive 300mph to the next scripted objective simply to keep the adrenaline rushing. There's no denying Agents of Mayhem boasts enough content to last dozens of hours, but with no multiplayer and few surprises, what you get out of it all depends on your expectations going in.
Agents of Mayhem is an interesting experiment, but with short legs. While on one hand we have twelve agents all different and fun to use in fast-paced and dynamic gameplay mechanics, on the other hand we have a gameplay experience ruined mostly for the repetition of missions background and the copious presence of bugs And glitch ready to let you start over again a great run.

Agents of Mayhem is one of those games with so much potential that just doesn't quite reach the heights it probably could. That being said, it's exhilarating combat and unique character system have me looking forward to a more polished, more fully conceived sequel.
Agents of Mayhem proudly barrels out into the world as a robust and absolutely fun single player experience. If you want an escape from the grimdark settings of most modern games, but still want to make things go boom, you should stop reading and pick it up now. Above all else, Agents of Mayhem is a master class in fun.
Video games were created as a medium of entertainment, and you don't get much more entertaining than Agents of Mayhem.
With tight controls, hilarious dialogue, and great gameplay mechanics Agents of Mayhem is the collection addition to fans of the genre or the Saints Row franchise.
Agents of Mayhem screams mediocrity at every turn, and while it introduces some fun mechanics, it ultimately boils down to a boring FPS mishmash. It fails to stand out in any remarkable way, the attempts at humor doing it no favors.
All in all, Agents of Mayhem is a solid effort. Fantastic heroes, ridiculous satire, and bombastic action make it a game you should check out even if the final product isn't as polished as it could be.
