Kirby Star Allies Reviews
Entertaining but lacking the challenge that many will crave, it’s hard not to come away from playing Kirby Star Allies with a mixed opinion. With impeccably polished visuals but uncomplex stages to overcome, this short-lived adventure in Dream Land has much room for improvement which we can only hope the pink puffball’s next outing will deliver on.
Kirby is back in a new platforming adventure and this time he’s bringing some friends along for the trip
Kirby Star Allies is an entertaining multiplayer game that's as Nintendo as they come. Played alone, it isn't as fun, though.
Star Allies isn't bad, it's just dull. Perhaps that's worse.
Where Mario Odyssey demanded player skill, Kirby 180’s and demands you just have fun. It won’t challenge most of you reading this, but I bet you’ll be smiling and having a good time regardless.
Kirby Star Allies is a fun game especially with its multiplayer ideas, but its still a very easy game for the die-hard platforming fans.

Kirby Star Allies is not Nintendo or HAL Laboratory at their best, but it is still a fantastic platformer that gets way more right than it gets wrong.
Kirby Star Allies is nice, but too simple game that's designed for younger audience and cooperative play. Some levels, like sections with flight, together with good puzzles can please even adults, but project lacks more complex levels, dynamic action and a real challenge to be truly addictive.

Kirby Star Allies is Nintendo at its best as HAL Laboratories create a truly enjoyable side-scrolling platformer which takes a classic gaming premise and transforms it into something enjoyable for old and new gamers alike that takes the genre to a new level. The controls work extremely well on this console and although single-player works well, Kirby Star Allies is far more entertaining with other players.
Kirby Star Allies is an incredibly fun Kirby game that will please fans of the franchise. If only there were a little bit more of it.
Kirby Star Allies offers plenty of classic adorable Kirby action with oodles of exciting abilities to discover.
All in all, Kirby Star Allies isn’t mind blowing, it’s not hugely different and certainly doesn’t push any boundaries. What it is, though, is a perfectly fun, simple gaming experience that’s enjoyable with or without friends, and near perfect for the Switch whether it be on the go, or on the TV.
Kirby Star Allies is another solid addition to the Nintendo Switch, and it does everything it has to as a Kirby game, I just hope that in the future, Nintendo will try to expand upon what already makes Kirby so great as they have with titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
Teamwork doesn't quite make the dream work in 'Kirby Star Allies.
Some Kirby fans will undoubtedly have hours of fun with Kirby Star Allies, while many others will be put off by what they might perceive as fairly bland gameplay. With friends and kids, this is a great game to play, but if you're looking for a hardcore platformer or something that will challenge you, this frankly is not it.
Kirby: Star Allies is an all-together pleasant game.
Kirby Star Allies is solid and quite fun with friends, but it doesn't quite reach the upper tier of Kirby games due to its brevity and playing it a bit too safe.
It's cute, easy to play and nice to look at, but by the end of it, you'll probably be left craving something that pushes back at least the teensiest bit.
Kirby Star Allies aims for the stars, but falls short. It's a good game that lacks creativity and is incredibly brief. Despite these factors, however, it's still a good game and a good buy for fans of the pink puffball.
