NOT WORTH IT! No matter how much this game is sold, I honestly can’t find any reason to recommend it to anyone. I didn’t have high expectations, to begin with but honestly, I didn’t expect the game to be this terrible. And in case you’re wondering its $39.99 which is better spent on a game that actually gives you a good amount of fun than frustrations considering the game stutters way too much and at times becomes a headache when it actually freezes to a halt before you’re forced to close the application.

Despite it's solid core mechanics and efforts to be faithful to its source material, Pirates of the Enchiridion is bogged down by poor pacing and various technical difficulties.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion might be appealing to a younger audience that wants an RPG without too many advance systems to over-complicate things, but if you're looking for a deep role-playing game set within the land of Ooo, you'll be sorely disappointed. On top of that, all of the performance issues with the Switch version make it incredibly difficult to recommend.

Great art and design can't make up for dated, semi-open world adventuring.

The land of Ooo is covered in ocean, and the hopes of Adventure Time fans for a decent video game adaptation have seemingly sunk to the bottom

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion feels like a return to the old days of licensed video games. The developers took a classic genre in the turn-based RPG, boiled it down to its core mechanics, and plastered the Adventure Time setting and characters onto it with far too few original ideas. Even though it feels like a faithful recreation of the show's personality and charm thanks to the original cast and solid writing, the uninspired gameplay drags down any goodwill it builds between encounters.

All in all, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is merely okay.

High seas RPG Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion brings some of the joy of the TV show to a kind-of open world RPG. It's a good game for beginners, and we get a small taste of how great exploring the show's world and quirky characters could be. but the lack of challenge and options will probably bore veterans. The sad thing is that Adventure Time is a special show because its humor appeals to fans both young and old, but this game seems made exclusively for the former.

Adventure Time: Pirates of Enchiridion is probably the most simplistic RPG we've seen in some time. Fans of the Ooo world will find some fun, but mostly because of their love of the universe and not because of the qualities of this particular videogame.

On the whole, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion does just enough to allow you to interact with the world of Ooo. It’s more a shame that considering the series as a whole is coming to an end, there’s no true celebration here to close out the franchise with a potential classic.

If you are a big Adventure Time fan and don’t require every game you play to be an original, stellar experience, there’s definitely fun to be had here thanks to the game’s charm and authenticity alone. For fans looking to say goodbye to the land of Ooo, you could definitely do a lot worse.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion falls short of being a great game and lands squarely in the land of being okay. Despite its flaws it is an enjoyable RPG that would be a great entry point to the genre for younger children who might be a little put off by the more complex systems in other games.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is an enjoyable sail along the high seas that is ultimately hampered by being rough around the edges. The battle system and story are an enjoyable experience, but absurdly long load times, frame rate stuttering, a clunky menu system, and a poorly developed upgrade system hamper the experience. It's still an entertaining experience, and fans of the show will likely love it, but those looking for an incredible RPG experience here might be left a little disappointed in its squandered potential.

Whilst not the most challenging of games, it still offers fans of the show a chance to enjoy it in a different light. Gameplay can become laborious, though, and the world is more vacant than it should be.

Combat is a highlight and I laughed at some solid jokes, but exploring Ooo is a disappointment. The game is also plagued by technical problems

The Adventure of Pirates of the Enchiridion is not the best when compared to the rest of the games, but it is a simple and beautiful game with bright colors and nice comedy. You can resort to it when you feel bored, and of course I do not recommend buying it before you get a discount because it does not deserve 40$.

While definitely not a perfect game, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is the best Adventure Time game so far. It’s recreation of Ooo is faithful to the look and feel of the TV show and with the original cast on board doing the voices it feels like an interactive episode at times. It takes characters we love and puts them into a fun turn based RPG that is easy for younger players to learn but still deep and entertaining enough to keep older players engaged throughout its 8-10 hour experience.

While not offering a unique experience, this is an Adventure Time game that is worthy of its name. The combat lacks depth and needs proper balance adjustments to make it more enjoyable, and there are some issues with the performance, but overall it is still a solid RPG that is worth giving a chance if you are a fan of the show.
