Pokemon Let's GO ushers in a brand new era for the Pokemon brand and I couldn't think of a better way for the core franchise to makes its debut on the Nintendo Switch. The game's mechanics perfectly rides the wave of success of the Pokemon GO phenomenon. Some core fans will be disappointed and that's completely fine, but the direction of Let's GO Pokemon is clear and it succeeds in its mission to provide a simple, yet addictive Pokemon game that can be enjoyable for all gamers. It's Pokemon at its addictive best and the only option is to set out and Catch 'Em All.

Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Let's Go, Eevee is fun to play. It has much new design comes from Pokemon Go, which is quite suitable to traditional Pokemon series. The partner pokemon system is adorable, and can attract many casual gamers. However, comparing to the prequels, LGPE lacks many basic functions such as new pokemons and new moves. The complete version of Pokemon on NS still needs to be waited until next year.

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee are the newest things to hit the Switch, and just in time for the holidays. A lot of people theorized that it would be a terrible cash grab similar to Pokemon Go, but I have found my childhood again. Pikachu Yellow was my favorite version of the games and Let's Go Pikachu is one game I will be playing for hours on end. It is a great installment into the Pokemon World, and makes me excited for the Switch's next big installment of the series.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! may be a remake of the oldest Pokémon games in the series, but it shakes up the standard Pokémon formula more than any of the main games since. With a catching system reminiscent of Pokémon Go, an adorable Eevee or Pikachu partner, multiplayer, and gorgeous graphics, the Let’s Go games have something to offer for every Pokémon fan, though the game’s changes may be just different enough to throw off the nostalgia for returning players.

I may have tiny gripes here and there, but all in all, I really enjoyed my time with Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! and was pleasantly surprised by how well this re-imagined vision of the Kanto works. I can’t wait to see how the next main games in the franchise come out.

Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu are fine additions to the series, albeit different to what we're used to seeing. Presenting a more casual and relaxed environment to stroll through and appreciate, it offer a new Kanto. One of exploration, one of cooperation, and one of catching them all. It isn't without its faults, but as a way to bridge the gap between mobile and main series, it succeeds brilliantly.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! feels at home on the Switch. Its deliciously, vibrant textures and reimagined features brings a new lease of life to a game that is loved by many. While it has its faults, Let’s Go is pure, unadulterated fun, never taking itself too seriously. This is Pokémon for Generation X, Y and Z.

Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee!/Pikachu! presents a mix between the old and enjoyable formula with the new which is not that interesting, it's a good game that became repetitive over time and we can't wait to see what the next instalment will do to freshen the experience.
