Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition Reviews
Divinity Original Sin 2 is the same great RPG that fans of the original remember, just made better.
Fans of fantasy RPGs will absolutely love their time with Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition.
It’s not an easy game to get into, but Divinity: Original Sin 2’s Definitive Edition rewards patient and dedicated players with a great deal of depth in every regard.
Divinity: Original Sin II is surely one of the best games to be seen on consoles this year, not only speaking of RPGs. And as I said in the introduction, FOR ME is already among the greats of the RPG. It's not easy to bring a very tactical and theoretically "slow" RPG subgenre to a wider target audience. In my opinion they have succeeded, or at least, they have done everything possible thanks to the union of a solid story and script, total freedom to face situations (even without fighting on many occasions) and a noteworthy graphic section.

I can go on and on about how great Original Sin II is and honestly, I'd love to, but I think I have said what needs to be said here.
Even with that said, DOS2 is an incredible game. Paying homage to the classics from a different age while at the same time surpassing them in almost every respect. Play. Now.
One of the best RPGs ever created makes it to consoles with a staggering amount of gareat new content.

A constantly evolving game that will keep you occupied for hours and months on end. With fantastic storytelling and engaging combat there is a lot to love about Divinity Original Sin II.
We are, without a doubt, with one of the best RPG of the year that, finally, comes to us after dinner: a story that is followed with interest, not only in its cinematic scenes, but also in the hundreds of documents that we will find throughout the adventure; a combat system complex, demanding and deep at the same time satisfactory, with a thousand and one variants that will make you squeeze the brawl so as not to lose heart in the battles; an absolute freedom to face your adventure in the way you want: stealth, negotiation, violence ... you forge your own destiny in Rivellion

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is probably one of the best old-school RPG you can find on console, a true masterpiece. The PC's version was almost perfect, this one follows the same path. Definitive Edition adds a new tutorial, new game mode (Story Mode) and a rework of Act III for the main campaign and it's great.

Divinity Original Sin II Definitive Edition is a near perfect RPG. It does everything well, from story, characters, combat, dialog and of course co-op. The refinements also make the game accessible for a much broader audience that need to play this game.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is so complex that I think everyone will find something to like, whether it's combat or an exciting story. The best thing I can say about it is that if I'm asked what I liked about it, I can't pinpoint something. It's the complete experience and the feeling of joy that it left behind.
Original Sin 2 is one the best games in the recent years, and one of the most complete RPGs of all time, period. Everything a hardcore RPG fan would want from a game is on offer here, and you can barely find another title that mixes the classic table-top Role Playing elements with digital media so ingeniously. Not only for RPG fans, but for everybody else, Original Sin 2 is one of the best choices of 2018.

If I could quit my job and spend the next few years playing Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition I would. It is addictive in every aspect. From the customization of your team, to the impressive combat, to the thousands of outcomes in the story, it never gets old.
Original Sin 2 shakes your hand a little too hard when you first meet. It needs to relax until you get to know it better. It's endlessly surprising, with characters that lose their stiffness over time, in dialogues and battle logs that piece together a dangerous, thoughtful world. It's tough. But the reward is that you get tougher, too. It still needs to clean up some of its tactical sloppiness, though. Having a ton of options in battle is only good if its rules are fair and make sense.
Overall, Divinity: Original Sin II is still an excellent RPG experience that uses intuitive mechanics and player choice to an incredible degree to make every encounter challenging and interesting. Divinity II is a beast of an RPG that does many different things incredibly well. It's not perfect from a technical standpoint, and fights and leveling can be frustrating at times, but these are minor quibbles when compared to all of the good stuff that's in the game and works well. If you're in the market for a new RPG with interesting storytelling and an appropriate amount of freedom, make Divinity II your next adventure.
Like any RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is no quick tap and gap gaming experience. This is a game that you need to devote hours upon hour to in order to get the most out of it. There is a wealth of finely crafted content in there; it will draw you in and make you want to continue on. You just need to have the time to be able to do that.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is a truly superb RPG experience that delivers a complex but intriguing narrative, some of the most exciting and intelligent turn-based combat I’ve ever encountered, and a shed load of quests to ensure there’s always something to do
