London Detective Mysteria Reviews
London Detective Mysteria does a few things new within the genre of otome dating sims, but at the end of the day, it isn't anything revolutionary. If you've played an otome game before, then this one will be more of the same, for better or worse. The silly cast of characters and attempts at dramatic detective plotlines are interesting, but not executed entirely well. Fans of the genre will be able to happily add this one to your pile, but if you need convincing to try out a game like this, London Detective Mysteria isn't the one for you.
My feelings about London Detective Mysteria are as mixed as what the game tries to be. It's not the best or the worst otome I've ever played, and most of the romance routes are rather sweet.
Including refreshingly dark descriptions for an otome game, London Detective Mysteria grabs your attention through its narrative and hangs onto it with its beautiful art and the promise of romance.
London Detective Mysteria is far from the worst otome out there, but I wouldn't call it one of the best either. Huge otome visual novel fans will likely get some enjoyment out of this title, but other gamers or those new to the genre might just find it tedious.
London Detective Mysteria is a fun little diversion for those who enjoy Victorian-era literature and the heroes and heroines that come from it, but it fails to establish itself as anything new in the genre and loses focus on the bigger mystery.
Easily recommend for anyone who's either a seasoned veteran of the genre or looking to dip their toes in.
London Detective Mysteria is a perfectly good visual novel that I’ll definitely be going back to so I can romance each and every one of the available hunks.
London Detective Mysteria is cruel, vile and repulsive with the way it builds its romances at the cost of the protagonist's physical and moral integrity. It's hard to believe that the protagonist doesn't end the game extremely traumatized and is able to live her happy ending with whoever it is.

If you're a fan of Otome visual novels, then you're going to like London Detective Mysteria. It hits all the necessary beats while providing us with an interesting setup and a fun story that will keep you busy for a while as you try to complete all possible romance and friendship paths as well as unlock all possible endings.
Out of the few visual novels I’ve played, I don’t think London Detective Mysteria was my favorite or the best. Nonetheless, I still had fun during the 25 hours or so that I spent with it. It has plenty of story content for you to enjoy for $29.99 and an overarching mystery which, as I said earlier, you won’t see a legitimate conclusion to unless you make your way through all of the possible endings. If you enjoy otome games and have a true appreciation for visual novels, then I think you’ll love London Detective Mysteria. This is one visual novel that’s worth picking up and enjoying for yourself.
London Detective Mysteria is the latest otome visual novel to hit the market, and it very much reminds us of the extremely popular Code: Realize. Fans of that franchise will find themselves extremely happy upon getting into this one.
While London Detective Mysteria may appeal more to otome fans specifically, for those (such as myself) just looking for a good story, you’ll struggle to find it here.
