Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a real piece of art. It has one of the most beautiful worlds i've ever seen in video games and now we can say that it is the best game of Trine series over Trine 2. Everything in this game is well-placed and either you play it on co-op or single player, it would be a very enjoying and lovable experience. Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a game you should not miss at all.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a very fun game but the puzzles and combat can be very simple and straightforward. However, this is made up for with amazing graphics and music as well as fun voice acting.

Overall, Trine 4 is a delightful game that's sure to satisfy anyone looking for a fun, light-hearted physics-based puzzle game. With roughly 10 hours of content, it's an easy recommendation if only to experience the game world's rich art design and clever puzzles. The puzzles aren't as complex as those found in Portal 2 or The Witness, but the variety of approaches is rewarding in its own way. For that reason alone, it's easy to recommend Trine 4, a game in a genre that rarely receives entries with this level of heart and soul in the art design department.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince lacks in storytelling, but still is a massive improvement compared to Trine 3. Great puzzles, fun co-op and beautiful levels make this game worth the value.

If you aren’t already a fan of the series, then Trine 4 probably won’t change your mind. If you love the series already like I do, then you’ll find a worthy new installment in the franchise that only occasionally stumbles in a few places here and there.

I didn't honestly think Trine 4 would enrapture me as much as it has, particularly when tackling the multiplayer. If you've played and enjoyed and title in the Trine franchise before, you're very likely to love this one,  so grab a few friends and enjoy.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince's bad combat and clunky controls can't bring down an immensely satisfying experience. With excellent puzzles, clever new mechanics, and sumptuous visuals, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is another superlative entry into an increasingly underrated series.

It may not spin the most memorable yarn and have the odd bug, but Trine 4 is an excellent co-op game that understands that the best puzzle solutions and the ones you make yourself, and the best co-op modes are the ones that build themselves around the options having more players brings to the table.

Trine 4 could've been one of the best puzzler-platformer titles of the year if Frozenbyte had spent more time on designing combats and injecting new mechanics and characters to the veins of the series. The new Trine approximately feels the same as previous games, so it's a fun-to-play game, but doesn't offer anything new.

For people who love the predecessors, Trine 4 can easily bring back the good-old memory. Eventhough the online gameplay and combat system are annoying, it remains attractive and impressive for the extraordinary scenes.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince may be the best of the Trine series, and it certainly deserves your consideration. If it's been a while since you've played Trine 1 or 2, by all means, dig in. But if you're just now getting into the series via any of the multiple packages available, you may start to feel burnt out before finishing this particular chapter.
