Catherine: Full Body has aged like a fine wine thanks to its new offerings. Not only do these add to an already great experience, but they made the game feel fresh. Rin's introduction to the storyline added a whole new dimension to the already twisted love triangle, while Remix mode did the same for the puzzles. If you haven't played Catherine before, now's a great chance to jump on the train. If you have, Catherine: Full Body is certainly worthy of the encore.

Catherine: Full Body is a fantastic revamp of a bonafide cult classic. With an excellent new character and several new endings slickly inserted into an already highly entertaining narrative – not to mention a slew of fun new modes – this is the definitive version of an outstanding game. If you've never played Catherine before then you're in for an absolute treat, and if you have, we'd say there's enough new content here to make it worth diving in all over again.

Catherine: Full Body has aged like the finest of wines. For fans of the story, the new characters and plot threads fold in fantastically after an awkward start, and they're coupled with a wealth of new dialogue and beautifully animated cutscenes. For fans of the gameplay, new remixed levels and difficulty options add brand new challenges for even the most hardcore Catherine enthusiasts, and with support for the game's niche competitive scene to boot. And if you've never played the game before, all of these additions make an already classic video game even more of a must-play experience.

Catherine: Full Body is about the two extremes of adult life: commitment or freedom. The story may seem to have some holes or badly developed characters, but this is not a flaw, because the intention of the game is to become a metaphor using precisely this context of indecision and questioning that the protagonist lives. With beautiful visuals and renewed gameplay, the remastering can please both those who have tried the original title and those who will play it for the first time.

Catherine: Full Body will have everyone talking, from it’s incredibly vibrant yet gritty design, it’s fascinating tale of love, devotion, lifestyle, and deviancy. It’s risk/reward style of prodding it’s own audience into making conscious decisions, and it’s impeccable style in anime-like scenarios, that mix well with it’s incredibly challenging gameplay. Catherine: Full Body is no nightmare, but a dream come true for devoted fans of the original, and truly a welcoming experience for new fans, alike.

The game’s newly added scenes and features will make it feel new to those who have played before, but if it’s your first time than you are playing the best version imaginable.

Catherine: Full Body gave me a truly unique experience that I haven’t had before with any video game, especially because I hadn’t played the original release. It was definitely one of the darkest and most intense stories I can remember.

I was a fan of the original Catherine, and I’m pleased to find the changes are mostly for the better. If you like puzzle games, specifically ones about finding patterns through the noise, and don’t mind potentially uncomfortable questions about mature topics, I highly recommend picking up Catherine: Full Body.
