Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection Reviews
Overlooking the flawed storytelling, fans will find six games stuffed with content and gameplay to enjoy.
The heroes in these games are fun to play as because they are powerful, and being powerful is awe-inspiring. It is cathartic to cut robots in half with a laser sword, as chunky pixel art blurts out all over the floor. It is a satisfying challenge that is just not available anywhere else.
Although it doesn't do a good job in localization, it's still a must-buy collection for Mega Man fans.

The games included in the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection aren't always perfect, but they're still a ton of fun to take on thanks to some impressive stories, graphics and a nice level of challenge. Like the previous Legacy Collections for the Classic and X series, it's something fans will love to rediscover or even discover for the first time and is worth picking up. It's an odd chapter of Mega Man history, but one worth learning about again.
With an engaging story, tight controls, and flashy action, the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection makes you feel like a real hero, despite some stumbles along the way.
All around, Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is a great package, and a celebration of this franchise's heyday - now to hope for a brand new Mega Man Zero game, hopefully...
This is the third collection (out of three until now) that Capcom did right, with added difficulty options, a new speedrun mode and six great games for less than thirty bucks. Count us in!

While I can't give Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection a broad recommendation above the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2, I can still put in a favorable mention. Zero 3, and the two ZX games – Advent especially – are the top picks in this compilation, all with optional adjustments to better reflect modern gaming sensibilities.
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection offers up six great games and enough challenges and extra content to keep you coming back for me. The inclusion of a casual mode and save assist feature helps new players experience the games that they may not have had a chance to do before.
There is only so much you can say about Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection before this becomes an entirely too long article. The core experience is largely the same and what you'd expect. Enemies have tricky arrangements, bosses take some learning, there are easy ways to do things and sword-based combat offers a different take for a number of situations. With so many games included, some modernization and more, it's easy to see the value in picking up this pack, though you want to be aware of the shortcomings. Graphics can be harsh, as can gameplay, but it will reward anyone able to overcome these elements.
Overall, in a deal of 6 games in one collection with added features for new and casual players, the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy collection is certainly an enjoyable and potentially challenging experience
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection contains most of Inti Creates' best work, and it's another Capcom collection worth adding to your Switch library.
Compiling six solid titles together, the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection shines a light on a series that many never got the chance to experience. These games offer a fresh take on a familiar formula and a welcome diversion from the main series.
Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection offers six quite challenging games with several options ranging from visual style and region, through new difficulty options, as well as a new game mode. Without a doubt, a great collection that any Mega Man fan should try.

Capcom brings the next series of Mega Man games to current-gen consoles and PC with another spectacular collection.
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy collection reminds us that the series did not shine at its brightest trying to move from action to story-based fiction. The six different games are still okay, but their original mecanics could have been tweaked a little to match the new video game standards.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is everything that you could've hoped it to be. This is ultimately six great Mega Man games presented to you with a slew of customizable features, extra content, and quality of life updates. If you're a fan of either Mega Man or sidescrolling action games in general, you owe it to yourself to give this release a go and see what all the fuss is about. These are hard and occasionally frustrating games, but they offer up some rewarding, action-heavy gameplay that even today stands among the best of its class. Don't pass this one up, it's definitely worth the punt.
There is plenty to love about the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. With great new additions like Casual Mode and a Checkpoint system, the Zero franchise can be enjoyed by both new and longtime fans of the franchise. It's just a shame that improvements seen in later games weren't retroactively put into earlier games to bring them all completely up to date.
If you’re a fan of Mega Man, or even action platformers in general, the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is worth checking out.
