Despite its flaws, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is a great Muso title, and a decent One Piece game.

One Piece fans will love this game.
I enjoyed my time with One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 yet it doesn't quite offer a wholly fresh and exciting gameplay formula. So, if you're happy with more of the same albeit with flashy visuals and cool special moves then you should give it a go.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 introduces some great fighting mechanics, overhauled systems from previous iterations, and smoother and more rewarding gameplay to the franchise. While it doesn't do anything new to uplift the Musou genre of games, it's a good game to pick up and beat the crap out of pirates as Luffy tries to become the king of the pirates.
The port has some issues with videos, controllers, and optimization, and the game lacks some content in comparison with its predecessor. But it's still a worthwhile experience for One Piece fans.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 struggles to outdo its fantastic predecessor, but it's still great fun to smash through hordes of enemies alongside such a colourful cast of characters. The game's delightful and diverse roster really is its greatest strength, and thanks to an emphasis on building combos, the combat system can be surprisingly rewarding, despite its repetitive nature. The pretty standard story mode will leave non-fans completely lost, but those who enjoy the action will find a near endless supply of it in the title's other offerings.
If you’ve played a Warriors game before, then you’ve basically played One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 once again shows that the Straw Hat Pirates translate well to the musou genre, albeit with more of the same limitations.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 offers a faithful retelling of the iconic series' story with thrilling combat to boot.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 isn’t a groundbreaking game by any means. It is a noticeable step forward for its series as a whole though, and boasts some worthwhile high points and potential that fans of the One Piece series and Musou games alike will be able to appreciate.
You’ll likely be too busy kicking butt to notice every visual discrepancy, and at the end of the day it’s most important that a game is fun, not pretty.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 adds more to the Musou formula, giving players a chance to re-experience the familiar story while adding in original content for replayability. All that adds up to a fun way to kill some time and become King of the Pirates.
Pirate Warriors 4 is a rich experience for One Piece's fans, but it doesn't even want to try to come up with something new for the musou genre.

A let down it is that Omega Force couldn't dedicate as much time to the visuals as they have done the source material, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is still the kind of game — the kind of Musou too — that seemingly does the unthinkable in providing a ludicrous-yet-fulfilling action game regardless of its depth.
Unless a Warriors game ends up being on the poor end of the spectrum (Looking at you, Dynasty Warriors 9), summarising them is often the same across each themed release.
Whether you’re a fan of Warriors games or One Piece, One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is easy to recommend.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is a game that fans of the famous series will admire as it captures the feel of the iconic characters powers and fighting style. Still, it's plagued by the usual shortcomings of the musou formula.

The game does not have anything special or unique about it except that it is set in One Piece World, but since it is an amazing world, and with the developer being able to make the fighting system fun, especially for the people watching the anime and wants to try the different abilities for each character since the game has a lot of characters, including some legendary ones.
