An intriguing, though lackluster, conclusion.
London Detective Mysteria is far from the worst otome out there, but I wouldn't call it one of the best either. Huge otome visual novel fans will likely get some enjoyment out of this title, but other gamers or those new to the genre might just find it tedious.
While a perfectly serviceable example of the genre, there are just better options out there in 2018.
One of the most engaging and original adventure games released in years. You owe it to yourself to give it a play.
Whether you're a first time player, or returning to this game after many years, Superstar Saga holds up and is worth your time.
A surreal, weird, and original RPG quite unlike anything else in the (Soul) space, YIIK's heart beats stronger than its technical shortcomings.
Minor blemishes aside, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition lives up to its namesake and is still among the best Tales of games ever.
I was not ready for this game to end as soon as it did.
While The Council's meager finale is indicative of its inability to meet the lofty expectations it set for itself early on, there's still a lot to like for fans of the genre. Your acceptance and enjoyment of the story's twists and shoddy lore will determine just how much you like it, though.
An uninspired sequel that feels like it was rushed out the door.
Still a great game, worth playing if you haven't played the series and enjoy the genre.
While it struggles to figure out which audience it actually wants to appeal to, World of Final Fantasy Maxima is an enjoyable spinoff with a wealth of gameplay content.
Fallout 76 is an underwhelming and disappointing mess, but may have the potential for greatness if Bethesda chooses to support it long-term.
The busiest gamers who can't dive deep may find a pearl in shallow waters.
One of the most charming and heartbreaking games I've played.
One of, if not the best mystery adventures released to date.
If you want more Ace Attorney, Spirit of Justice will keep you entertained for hours on end!
Unfortunately, with no story to speak of, the relatively small playlist, and the overall mediocre gameplay, it's a hard recommendation otherwise. When Atlus decides to make Persona 1/2 Dancing or the future Persona 6 Dancing, they might want to consider changing the gameplay and adding a story mode like they had the first time around.
I'll always want the mainline games, and I don't see myself continually coming back to Let's Go like I have done the standard entries, but as a gateway for newer, younger players, I can't think of anything more perfect that Let's Go. I can't wait to see the smiles on kids' faces as they start up their first ever Pokémon adventure.
A staple steampunk fantasy RPG that has learned well from its predecessors.
