Agatha Christie — Hercule Poirot: The First Cases brings an original story, but it's a worthy homage to the Queen of Crime. With a gameplay and plot that are both interesting and compelling employing logical reasoning, it's hard not to feel yourself in the actual role of a young, but eccentric detective Hercule Poirot, whose method to solve crimes is explored faithfully. Maybe it'll be better appreciated by the fans of Agatha Christie, who are already used to her narrative style, but it can be enjoyed by all police novel fans.

Awaited for years, Diablo II: Ressurected brings the adaptation of a classic work to the present day without its original essence being lost in the process. The visual and sound conversion deserves praise, and the ability to instantly switch between original and remastered visuals is the definitive addition in a complete, coherent package, capable of pleasing both veterans and newcomers to the series. When venturing against evil again, it is clear that some points could be reworked, such as movement and inventory. But the truth is, even its downsides can be lightened with a little patience — just keep in mind that in the 2000s, some things were a little different in the gaming world, for better and for worse.

Dandy Ace nails all its main concepts and ideas. It has a balanced difficulty at all levels, with a very satisfying learning curve and a replay factor that shows that Mad Mimic knows exactly where to go. The theme make the scenarios and characters wonderfully captivating, with emphasis on the PT-BR dubbing, which has known Brazilian youtubers and streamers, such as BRKsEDU, Gabi Cattuzzo and Patife, who add an extra touch of personality to this national indie scene surprise.

Given this overall balance, it's easy to see that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom PRINCE'S EDITION (Switch) is far from an exemplary action-RPG, there are high points, but in almost all of them there are also drawbacks. Metroid Dread refines the franchise's 2D formula into one great game. The vast ZDR planet has an elaborate map full of alternative routes and secrets, and the agile movement make the journey very pleasant. In addition, E.M.M.I. encounters excite and terrify in tension-filled stretches. The battles are also more varied, difficult and intense, however the bosses are a bit problematic because of some questionable choices. The feeling of being alone and lost in a strange world is strong, but irregular the rhythm at times makes the experience a bit tiring. The plot is simple and has intriguing developments that are portrayed in elaborate scenes. Visually the title is competent, it just lacked a little more personality in certain locations. In the end, Metroid Dread maintains the 2D essence of the series in an immersive adventure, it's just a shame that the opportunity to dare a little was wasted.

Nexomon is a good alternative for those looking for a change of scenery after playing Pokémon for a long time. Here, you will find a good story, outstanding characters, excellent soundtrack and art, and many hours of fun. The collection of little monsters is vast and will give you some work to complete the database. However, there are also errors and the absence of some features, such as trades and multiplayer, overshadowing the shine of a game that proved to be a good option for fans of the genre. Still, the excess of grinding to win the game could have been worked better, thus avoiding the game to be too repetitive and restricting itself to training.

Cruis’n Blast is the curious case of a great game on the outside, but empty on the inside. The main gameplay is exhilarating, with fast races and responsive controls. The circuits, with their gigantic jumps, comically absurd situations and unexpected elements, make games fun. The vehicles, on the other hand, ranging from the simplest to the most fantastic, are hardly seen in other games of the genre. However, everything around this gameplay is shallow, making this a good comeback from the franchise, but not the best possible.
