Kirby Fighters 2 Reviews
Kirby Fighters 2 is a kid-friendly fighting game that holds rather limited appeal.
Kirby Fighters 2 is a fun game without great aspirations that lacks content and gameplay. Despite that, it is very enjoyable and a good option as an alternative to other brawls on the market.

Kirby Fighters 2 gets a recommendation for die-hard fans of Kirby in particular and to parents looking for a game that's not too expensive and easy enough to get a grasp on for younger kids who won't mind that this is all about Kirby and no other character. There is nothing intrinsically bad about it and it is a fun experience in multiplayer, no doubt, but strip it out of the Kirby license and this falls short in terms of actual content variation. Hardcore fans of brawlers with deep gameplay mechanics like Smash Bros. will find this one somewhat lacking.
Kirby strikes againt and it is decent fun and sometimes little chaos.

I don't think there is anything particularly bad here, it's just unimpressively lacking. So for what it's worth, I think you'd get a few hours of enjoyment out of this budget title. Just don't expect anything that you can't find elsewhere.
This game, to me, is a reminder of the dozens upon dozens of hours I would play Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64 with family and friends, at a time before anyone cared about a "meta-game" or the tiered rankings of dozens upon dozens of characters. Kirby Fighters 2 gets the party fighting game genre right back to the most simple of basics, and it's adorable in the process. That's a win-win.
Wrapping things up, I’ve been having a lot of fun with Kirby Fighters 2 and there’s more to enjoy than not.
Kirby Fighters 2 delivers an upgrade from the original but still lacks depth. there are enough characters, but in fact, they are all the same more or less. The attacks are similar for every character for instance. Still, there is enough to do in the game. most of the characters, levels, and outfits need to be unlocked and the story is quite long. Just because of that the game is fun to play for the price of twenty euros.

I find it hard to recommend Kirby Fighters 2 to a fan or not of nintendo's pink bubble. To be honest, I doubt how much someone will enjoy it, even in those few hours that will keep you on screen. The title displays several issues. If anyone really wants my opinion, then that's to invest twice as much money in Super Smash Bros. and let Kirby Fighters 2 be forgotten, along with 2020.

Kirby Triple Deluxe had a side game where you got to play with different Kirby abilities in a Smash Bros-like setting. The following year, Nintendo released a small game in the form of Kirby Fighters Deluxe which was focused on that side game. Fast forward to today and Nintendo out of nowhere revealed and launched Kirby’s Fighters 2. Is Kirby Fighter’s 2 worth the purchase? Did I enjoy my time with the game? Or was Kirby Fighters 2 a cheap cash-grab? Read on in order to find out.
At the end of the day, Kirby Fighters 2 gave me a fun time and a slice of Dream Land that I’d been starving for.
Kirby Fighters 2 is basically a cheaper Super Smash Bros with more simplistic gameplay, which definitely does not go unnoticed. It is suitable for all ages and types of gamers.

Although it has its charm, in general Kirby Fighters 2 is a repetitive title and of little value, but it can be a lot of fun when enjoyed in the company of someone. The various unlockable content and variations of Kirby justify its existence, but the absence of more modes and the simple gameplay mechancis leave the impression that the game is just easy money for Nintendo.

Kirby Fighters 2 is flooded with charm and potential with some well thought out level designs. The different abilities of the characters while different seem to fade into each other and the various Kirby’s all become the same character. Simply put, it all feels very watered down and mundane.
Overall, Kirby Fighters 2 is simply a below par fighting game. From mechanics to content, the game is simply a mediocre experience.
Mesmerised by its simple yet effective gameplay loop, adorned by its aesthetic, and while its narrative was somewhat cumbersome, I was gripped by the campaign’s climax. Kirby Fighters 2 is an awesome casual title, a great talking piece for the Smash community, and one for the entire family to enjoy.
So why would you play Kirby Fighters 2 over Super Smash Bros.? It’s small and focused. It’s clearly on the same page with an all-fun play session. Gooey is in it. HAL and Vanpool clearly hope at least one of those will resonate with you. And if all else fails, they hope you like the smoochin’.
Kirby Fighters 2 is a simple fighting game that is designed to be fun without being overwhelming or complex. The grinding nature of its unlockables somewhat holds it back but the game is solid fun in multiplayer with up to four players.
