F1 2021 is a solid chapter, full-bodied and full of content. It is probably one of the best hybridizations between simulation and accessibility on the market today. If on the track everything seemed to us in its place, and the Codemasters product has been able not only to confirm itself, but even to improve the excellent starting points of the previous year, the context, what once represented one of the most successful aspects of the package, has instead proved strangely in trouble: the annoying tearing phenomena and a raytracing just sketched and not always up to the situation have greatly reduced our involvement and the credibility of the whole.

Overall, F1 2021 is an excellent entry in the series, with a number of additions and tweaks that make it feel refreshing to play. With one of the most comprehensive Career Modes available in a sports game and enough options to make it accessible to anyone, F1 2021 is enjoyable for newcomers and veterans alike. Fans may want to keep an eye on outside influences on Codemasters as time goes on, particularly with cosmetic options, but F1 2021 still provides the incredible thrills and deep choices of how to play that the series has become known for.

Much of F1 2021 builds on the high-class foundation from previous games that make the series one of the best racing games out there, but new additions, especially Braking Point, are both great pieces of content on their own and optimistic foundational pieces for the future.

F1 2021 once again trumps its predecessor and, including its co-op career, is a fantastic racing game for newcomers and experts alike.

Perhaps the most important thing about F1 2021 is that Codemasters has not messed with the actual mechanics of driving the car much, beyond tweaks necessary for the 2021-spec cars. With a good force-feedback wheel, the cars are engaging to drive, and you can feel subtleties in cars from different teams—a McLaren handles differently to an Alpine to a Red Bull to a Mercedes, as you'd hope they would. If you're a fan of the sport, you'll probably enjoy playing F1 2021.

F1 2021 is a scene in which I will spend even more hours than in F1 2019. F1 2020 didn't pull me up that much, but that's because there were few changes. In the case of the latest part of the brand, it is radically different.

While it's a shame that classic cars have been nixed this year, F1 2021 is nonetheless an exhilarating racing game brimming with compelling modes and customisation features, as well as the new Braking Point story mode, for countless hours of wheel-to-wheel action. Another sterling effort from Codemasters, racing games don't really come much better than this.

F1 2021 is the best-looking and most customisable instalment of series so far and, while it's a little plain, the new story mode is a well-executed and fun new addition.

‎F1 2021 is the perfect complement for any Formula 1 fan. The new game modes elevate this edition several points above its predecessor thanks to a simulator that Codemasters has turned into a gift for fans of single-seater cars, and that every year comes closer to perfection.‎

Overall, F1 2021 still provides an unrivaled and amazing racing experience thanks to its MyTeam and Career modes, as well as a multitude of options to help fine-tune your racing style. Unfortunately, it's marred by a disappointing and disjointed Braking Point flagship story. Moreover, the improvements and changes to existing modes aren't as impactful as I had hoped. As such, if F1 2021 isn't as compelling if you extensively played last year's offering.

Whether you’re looking for fierce competition or you simply want to get as close to driving around F1’s real tracks as life allows without becoming a professional driver, F1 2021 has you covered. It’s the closest you’re ever going to feel to the real thing while sitting on your couch, and isn’t that really what playing any sports sim is all about?

F1 2021 continues where it left off with F1 2020 when it comes to the core gameplay. It brings well-needed changes to the UI and brings a few extra modes to choose from. For a season that is otherwise the same as the previous one, Codemasters did a great job of bringing changes to make it feel fresh in some ways. Issues from previous installments such as randomly placed track limits and occasional crashes are carried over. Something Codemasters could fix by bringing an update to the game (instead of the track)!

This is about as realistic as you can get for a console racing game, but don't let that intimidate you. F1 2021 is the total package, a Day 1 purchase for racing fans that is sure to win over newcomers with ease.

Whether you’re a fan of Formula 1, a die-hard sim enthusiast or even just a casual racing game fan then it’s hard to go past F1 2021. There’s something for everyone in this years offering, and I can’t wait to get stuck in to the new tracks later this year.

It all shapes up to make F1 2021 more than, well, F1 2020+1. The new game has applied a generous amount of polish to the things that it carried forward, and the new modes, such as Braking Point and the two-player career mode, add some appreciable entertainment to a solid racing game. It is equally enjoyable to an F1 nut as to someone who is entering the sport fandom, and I have been having a great time whenever I fire it up for a few laps.

With the raft of new features, the addition of Braking Point, vast customisation options and significant gameplay tweaks, F1 2021 is the most complete official Formula One video game ever made. F1 2021 has something for everyone, whether you're a newcomer to F1 or an avid fan of the sport, it's (almost) as epic as the real thing.

For the second year in a row, the official game of Formula 1 will be a delight for fans of this category and those passionate about motorsport. Likewise, F1 2021 is already one of the best sports simulators out there and in terms of its own history, it is the best Formula 1 game so far.
