Whenever Wario and company jump to a new console, we know we can count on unparalleled fun in hundreds of microgames. Get it Together! not only fulfills our expectations, but it also brings unexpected and welcome innovations to the series. For the first time in WarioWare history, we can share this experience with friends in real time, in over 200 microgames as unique and hilarious as we could have hoped for. WarioWare: Get it Together! is a fantastic experience on Switch, which elevates the base gameplay of the series and only falters because it doesn't take advantage of the rich Switch hardware.

WarioWare: Get It Together! is a fun and bizarre reintroduction to the series, even though it does feel like it’s lacking a little in content. It’s best enjoyed in short bursts, as it can quickly get repetitive, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun. It’s random, whacky and weird – and it’s great. I only wish there was some online multiplayer support to make it better.

WarioWare: Get It Together! isn’t the best game in the series, but the latest from Wario’s video game company is still a delight. With tons of variety, this is the sort of game I can see myself popping into for a quick session regularly for years to come. If you have friends to play with, this is an easy recommendation. Even without those, there’s plenty of variety to keep players coming back until Wario’s next creation is ready to go.

WarioWare: Get It Together! is a nice collection of different microgames under time pressure. Very often I found that you have much less time to understand and master the individual games. Fortunately, there is a training mode where you can work off these disadvantages. Unfortunately, however, long-term motivation falls by the wayside. After a good three hours, the main part is done, and if you invest a few more hours afterwards, all the microgames are done at least once. The cosmetic changes also don't bring the freshness that the developer probably imagined. It would have been more interesting if each character had special skins. What the title definitely shines with, however, is the multiplayer. Online or locally, you will have fun with the creative games and crazy sceneries. For single player, the air is out very quickly and you have to think carefully about whether you want to pay the full price.

It was about time the Nintendo Switch welcomes a WarioWare game in its catalogue, and Get It Together! is just what we could wish for. With its gameplay formula unchanged, Get It Together! brings us 200 new microgames, a brand new story mode, and weekly online challenges. The result is an effort that carries the baton from one generation to the next, and which will keep players delighted with the series' unusual humour for a long time, both solo and on multiplayer.

Get It Together is experimental in many ways, like the series is taking a turn and it needs more time to fit the mould. It’s still incredibly good fun and there’s more reasons than ever to keep dipping in and playing, but the selection of mini-games on offer isn’t the best around and the team selection/character changing feels a little bit jarring and can make things overly confusing.

WarioWare: Get It Together! is nearly impossible to play without smiling. The series’ signature style, sense of humor, and brief-yet-satisfying gameplay loops are just as present as ever and made better by the game’s expanded roster of familiar faces; the latter of which is a real treat for long-time fans. WarioWare has never been afraid to be bold, take risks, and shake things up, and the Nintendo Switch iteration is the purest expression of that.

WarioWare: Get It Together! isn’t the overhaul the series probably needs, but it’s another propulsive and compulsive blast of fun. The multiplayer modes are modest but well implemented, and the variety added by each character’s abilities adds longevity.

From its humor to its head-scratching microgames, WarioWare: Get It Together! is the perfect addition to the franchise. There are few faults with the game save for its quick story mode (3+ hours) and occasional character dupe. This new WarioWare game challenges old and new fans to think outside the box with its challenges. During an uncertain time, WarioWare: Get It Together! provides a fun outlet packed with perfected pandemonium. As a long-time fan of WarioWare, Nintendo couldn't have made a better follow-up as WarioWare: Get It Together! will have fans laughing for years to come.

the game is an absolute blast to play and features an impressive amount of polish, but there really isn’t enough content in here to keep it an evergreen title

WarioWare: Get It Together is as random and frantic as you would expect a character-driven entry in the long-running series to be. However, you may not expect just how fun it is to play with a friend and that's where its gameplay shines brightest.

222 mini-games? WarioWare: Get It Together! it is overloaded with small tasks, which in many cases quickly get bored. The creators in some way do not use the potential of the created proposal.

For those who are able to find another player or three, Get It Together! offers some decent value, but so much of the side content just isn't compelling enough to justify a purchase, and it's hard not to see the Switch's WarioWare game as another Game & Wario, where the schtick is all there is. At the end of the day, Get It Together! hasn't even heeded its own admonition. Ironically, the absence of any meaningful online experience means that most will be left to "get it together" on their own.

It's rare for a long-running series to disappear for a decade, come back with some fairly dramatic changes, and still come away on top. Any one of these factors would be a death-knell for a worser series, so the fact that this title can balance all of them at once is truly impressive. WarioWare: Get it Together may not seem ambitious at a glance, but at a closer look, the scope is genuinely admirable. Somehow, Intelligent Systems was able to create 200+ microgames that could each be played by 19 characters, without any of these elements feeling bloated or ancillary. Time will tell if this installment remains as beloved as its cult-classic counterparts, but even after one whole week, Cubed3 is not ready to put the game down just yet. Especially when there's still some high scores that need beating!

This is still one of Nintendo's zanier and imaginative series, but the quest to stir things up has resulted in the series losing some of its simplicity and appeal.
