Guardians of the Galaxy Reviews
I initially booted up Guardians of the Galaxy with tempered expectations but was surprised with how much fun I ended up having. Despite having a few setbacks, Guardians of the Galaxy is easily one of the best games of the year thanks to its fantastic story.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a very special experience with a fun story, satisfying fighting system and distinctive characters with elaborate vocal representation.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a good superhero game. It may not be the best out there, but it is in the top 5. If you are a true Marvel fan familiar with the Guardians of the Galaxy universe it hits the perfect notes in almost perfect order. It tried to balance the videogames gameplay with a cinematic experience, focusing on delivering a quality single player experience.
Marvel: Guardians of the Galaxy is a piece of interesting story that ends maybe a little too quickly, but it provides a lot of fun. Good, linear and in the positive sense of the word "talked" production. For fans of Guardians of the Galaxy – a must-see production.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a great experience that I cannot wait to play through the story again. The characters were portrayed perfectly in my opinion and the voice acting was stellar. Coming off of an Avengers game that some were a little hesitant about, Square Enix had a lot to prove with this title. This shows that future Marvel games are in really good hands. I look forward to more content for Guardians of the Galaxy and potentially a sequel in the future. If you haven’t spent much time learning about the Guardians of the Galaxy, this is a great jumping-off point. There is a lot of lore to be discovered in this game and it makes me want to go back and read some of the comics. There are so many potential characters that could be explored now. An Antman game by Square Enix could be pretty good.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a Flarkin Fantastic game. It's easily the best game of the year so far. My only disappointment? We need more Lipless.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy offers a great single-player linear experience. With sublime artistic design, fun combat system, and outstanding script, Eidos Montreal's new title will delight any lover of narrative-based games. Yes, some aspects of the technical section are not as polished as they could be, but those problems are far from tarnishing the final result. We have had a huge smile throughout the journey of this fun game, enjoying its dialogues, its combat and soaking up its wonderful setting. And in the end, that's the most important thing for us.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the closest we've had so far to translating the uncompromised fun feel of a Marvel movie into video games. It's an incredibly fun title, with great storytelling and solid gameplay that, if it doesn't revolutionize, makes every hour invested in it worth it.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is an extremely fun little romp that is genuinely funny and heartfelt. It's fun to play, and combat maintains the feel of a team working together despite being technically only a single-player game. The only real downside is that it is a linear game, so the replay value depends on how much you enjoy seeing alternate outcomes to various cut scenes. If you're a fan of the franchise and don't mind that this doesn't matching the MCU version, then there's a whole lot to like in MGotG.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy are good enough to entertain you for a few evenings. But I doubt you will ever want to revisit this journey.

What Guardians of the Galaxy brings to the table is an entertaining combat system centered around combining team elements for optimal results, coupled with an excellent and meaningful upgrade system that all creates a fun gameplay loop. Throw in a remarkably clever and well-written story, and Guardians of the Galaxy becomes what I consider to be an exceedingly enjoyable and palatable game.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy leaves an outstanding first impression but after playing it for a handful of hours, you'll realise that it doesn't really offer enough exciting gameplay to last its entire campaign. It's still a wonderful game to watch, though.
A very beautiful and fun singleplayer game that will satisfy Marvel fans and non Marvel fans alike.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy isn't just any story-driven adventure, it's a cosmic superhero experience I'll never forget. With a great combat system that you'll get into and enjoy very quickly, well-written characters, and an overall engaging story, you just won't get bored of the game. The graphics and environments just draw you into the whole storyline and you'll enjoy going through each planet. On top of that, there are a lot of details in the game that the developers have thought of, and it's all underlined by the great audiovisual and very comprehensive soundtrack. For me, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a surprise of the year that just wasn't expected, and it definitely deserves to at least get a chance even from gamers who aren't directly Marvel fans. I recommend the game at 9/10.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy features a fantastic narrative backed by exceptional writing and a strong selection of licensed music.
With its engaging exploration, deep gameplay, well-acted characters, and a story that rivals those told in the MCU, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is what more Marvel games should strive to be.
Overall, Guardians of the Galaxy was a fantastic surprise. I was sceptical going in but I was quickly blown away by the visual quality and art direction of the game, it’s great writing and its incredible soundtrack. Guardians of the Galaxy is another hit for Marvel Games and I can easily see it showing up on many game of the year lists at many outlets later this year.
This game rallies its strengths and manages to deliver not just a great Superhero game, but a great game in general. Definitely don’t miss this adventure of Galactic Proportions.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a pleasant surprise, definitely the better of the two Square Enix published Marvel licensed games.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a good game that wants to be, in Peter Quill's words, metal. It doesn't quite reach that mark, but compared to other recent Marvel video games that aren't Spider-Man, it succeeds more often than it fails. If you've liked other incarnations of the team's lovable misfits and misanthropes, you'll like what the developers have done here. And even if you're only somewhat aware of its Marvel background, there's a lot to love already here that a fresh coat of bug-fixing polish will only make better.
