Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is an excellent action-RPG that's arrived on Switch in a fantastic, feature-packed port. Evan and Roland's antics across this game's sprawling world are stuffed full of great characters, exciting combat and adventuring and a kingdom building mechanic that's a delight to get to grips with. It looks and sounds every bit as good as its predecessor and, although the story might be a little more hit-and-miss here, we were completely hooked into this one from beginning to end. This is a sumptuously crafted adventure you won't regret diving into.

Despite the frenetic combat system in an action key and the exquisite tactical component represented by the introduction of the nice Cioffi, already in 2018 Ni no Kuni 2: The Destiny of a Kingdom could not fully convince us, due to a cloying and excessively puerile story, which among other things delegated to the downloadable content the fundamental task of answering the most interesting questions left unanswered.

The overhaul of combat is the biggest improvement with the real-time battles providing an enthralling experience. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is by far one of the best JRPGs and essential gaming for fans of the genre.

Ni No Kuni II: The Reborn of a Kingdom Prince´s Edition is a very good opportunity for the Nintendo fan people to live the adventures of Roland and Prince Evan in the world of Ni No Kuni, thus complementing the adventures of its predecessor, launched for Nintendo Switch in September 2019.A beautiful game that, despite being big for the Nintendo console, you can enjoy it. Remember that its three different levels of difficulty make it very accessible for everyone.

We love the art, the story, music and characters in Ni No Kuni II. It is a great J-RPG (which includes the three DLC previously released for PS4 and PC). The game runs at 30 FPS, with some drops, and resolution is also "downgraded" from the original.

Ni no Kuni II is a good game, rather on the easy side but blessed with a unique charm. This Switch version comes across as the least performant of the bunch, but the inclusion of DLC and portability are good reasons to consider it if you really don't have any other platforms to play on.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is filled with charm, offering an accessible JRPG that is perfect for newcomers to the genre. Although the Nintendo Switch version has a few issues, the gameplay more than makes up for it, alongside its heartwarming narrative and addictive side activities. If you've never played it, then this might be the time to jump in. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Princes Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch, featuring all previously released updates and downloadable content.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – Prince’s Edition is a more than serviceable way for audiences that haven’t yet been able to play the game to do so. The game itself is very unique and a lot of fun, and with the included DLC there’s even more of it to enjoy. Those looking for the smoothest performance and best rendering will need to look elsewhere, but the convenience of a portable variant of Revenant Kingdom is an appealing one that won't be a barrier for those inclined to check it out.

‎I have enjoyed this Ni No Kuni II like never before, reminding me why I like video games and why I do not tolerate too much the works that come out today. And all in an adaptation that works very well.‎

While Ni No Kuni II is already three years old, this Switch still feels new and refreshing. This is partly due to the timeless, cheerful story and the colourful drawing style. The port to the Switch can safely be called successful, with short loading times and excellent performance. The game itself is unabatedly charming and offers varied gameplay and including all the included DLC a nice total package that you can lose many hours in. Ni No Kuni II hasn't lost any of its charm and is now nice and easy to play. Recommended!

The Nintendo Switch version of Ni No Kuni II is not perfect, but it gives us the possibility to play one of the best JRPGs of the last years in portable mode, which is an unbeatable pleasure.

Although it has some technical problems, it is a game that I can easily recommend for players who want to experience Ni No Kuni II with slightly lower graphics, wherever they go.

The DLC is excellent, and the portability is aces. If you’ve never played Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom before, then the Switch’s Prince’s Edition is a must play for any JRPG fan. My only complaints are about what the game doesn’t have. Everything it does have is wonderful. It’s kind of worth it for the strange intro alone.

With that being said, the Prince’s Edition is not the best version of Ni no Kuni II, but it is the most portable. If mobility is key then consider picking it up on the Switch, but if visuals and performance are more important than a significantly better version of the game can be found cheaper elsewhere.

While not as pretty as it’s PS4 older brother, Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition is a delightful experience all around. All the additional DLC is just a welcome bonus.

Despite the few framerate dips and noticeable visual downgrade, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Prince's Edition is still a solid port of a great game that provides Switch owners a chance to experience the title to the fullest extent.
