Those who played in the era of The Taken King and broke bungie... Let the longing stop. The Witch Queen is such a good supplement that it's like there's an embarrassment that apologizes for all the mistakes they've made in the past.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expands, improves, and refines everything that already works extremely well, proving that this game as a service is still far from exhaustion. Moreover, it offers an engaging new journey, important revelations, and a turning point that only builds on promise for what lies ahead.

Bungie is serving us the new best addition to Destiny 2, which is not only a fantastic adventure, but also shakes up the entire game world known to us so far.

‎Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is the best expansion Bungie has ever developed, and it's all thanks to an interesting plot, alongside an antagonist that really matters and a beautiful new area to explore. But with all this in its favor, the studio continues to make the same mistakes as always, such as the lack of new activities.‎

Overall, I would recommend this expansion to anyone who seems interested in playing the game. Destiny 2 Witch Queen is arguably the best expansion the franchise has ever seen and while it may have its shortcomings the future looks bright.

The Witch Queen is an exciting, and much needed, addition to Destiny 2. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel of Bungie's MMO experience, it gives a wonderful story while also opening up the doors to future expansions. The future of Destiny 2 is looking up, and The Witch Queen is why.

I found The Witch Queen to be the best Destiny 2 expansion thus far, with the only real contestant being Forsaken, which is considered the golden standard among the community of what a good expansion looks like. As such, I would highly recommend getting the expansion.

I cannot overstate how much I’m looking forward to playing the next three seasons to complete The Witch Queen Expansion. It started off with a bang and the story brings changes to Destiny 2 that were needed. There are a couple of negatives to The Witch Queen, particularly with the smaller map, which is severely limited compared to other areas. I’d have also liked to have seen the Hive Guardians utilised more often, as they only seem to be trotted out sporadically, but these are just minor points on a well-put-together expansion. If the remainder of the year continues in this vein, it’ll be hard for me to leave The Witch Queen alone long enough to play other games. Even as it stands, The Witch Queen Expansion is a thoroughly recommended addition to Destiny 2.

Despite being a regular Destiny player, I am also a cynic. The last couple of years haven’t been kind to the game (and the franchise as a whole) and I didn’t go into this expansion with the greatest of expectations. However, Witch Queen has quickly become my favourite Destiny experience to date and a huge step in the right direction. We ended up getting an amazing and rather beefy campaign that shows Bungie at their very best, but there’s still a long way to go with everything else in the game.

The Witch Queen is the expansion that all Destiny players have been waiting for, and the best of Bungie's expansions to date. The new location of Tronomondo is fascinating, full of mysteries and breathtaking for the majesty of the fortress of Savathun and the areas that will be accessed by looking beyond the illusions. Thematically it is a campaign that matures further, taking to new levels what it began to do with Beyond the Light. The length of the campaign is far greater than in the past, combined with higher difficulties and replayable weekly missions, Destiny 2 The Witch Queen offers a fully immersive experience that values the investment and dedication of its players. Destiny 2 is currently in its best shape: rich in content, activities that enhance the new void subclass and adds extensive customisation of firearms with the crafting system. Balancing issues and drop rates remain to be fixed as soon as the team collects enough data.

Thanks to The Witch Queen, Bungie has demonstrated that the narrative component is one of the main focuses for Destiny. The spectacular campaign, the evocative raid, the numerous quests and even the side activities managed to immerse us in the narrative as rarely happened before

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is an amazing addition. The Vow of the Disciple raid further strengthened Bungie’s strong launch. This expansion’s story stretches further beyond imagination. Its narrative continues after beating the campaign. Then, more secrets are revealed after beating the raid. The momentum is building to a climax. Chiefly, a conclusion to the Light and Dark saga. Savathûn herself has been a key player for years in Destiny’s story. Bungie delivered us another great villain. One that surpasses Oryx in my opinion.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is the best Destiny has ever been, and it is a fitting way to usurp the throne that was long held by the Taken King.

The Witch Queen is more than just another expansion for the now 8-year-old franchise, it’s a return to form for Bungie that I, as a lifelong fan dating back to the Marathon days, never expected to see. My biggest concern now is whether Lightfall can live up to what the team has been able to accomplish here.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is the franchise’s best expansion to date. A great story coupled with exciting new gameplay changes make this an amazing experience we have all been waiting and asking for. The future is looking really bright for the game and the only complaint I have is that I have to wait for all of it.

Destiny 2’s The Witch Queen then is, in some areas, a huge leap forward and in others a minor refinement. It points to the future of Destiny 2, with a clearer sense of what kind of game it will become in the coming years. It will please existing players considerably, as well as bring back many lapsed ones. Whether or not it will see a huge and lasting increase of new light Guardians, I suspect, will depend on other factors.

The Witch Queen is, without doubt, the best Destiny 2 expansion. The things it sets in motion, the flow between missions, the beautiful setpieces, epic battles, and wonderful voice acting marry up beautifully to create an unmissable expansion, even if some questions still remain about Destiny 2’s treatment of its content and how to access some of it.

Destiny: The Witch Queen is a spectacular sequel to Beyond Light, released in 2022. Fans have been waiting for years to meet Savathûn and now the time has finally come. The storytelling is excellent and there is plenty to do on Savathûns Throne World. Add to that the fact that you will again be presented with the necessary content for this year to entertain you until the next expansion, called Lightfall. It's just a shame that content like Gambit is still not fun enough to play. Fortunately, there is a new raid against that.
