Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed will appeal to fans of the original and a more niche audience that craves destruction without caring that the plot isn't too cohesive. Others who will be aficionados are players who like mayhem on foot rather than from a flying saucer and appreciate gameplay improvements, even if they make the title much easier. It's a fun experience for everyone who's willing to check it out, especially with the title's relatively low price point compared to many other PS5 games.

If you enjoyed 2020’s Destroy All Humans! remake and want more outrageous exploits with Crypto, you’ll be very happy with Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed. It’s a continuation of the tried and tested gameplay – for better or worse – but with more weapons and bigger, more varied environments. We can’t help but wish that Crypto was treated to a new outing though, one with revised controls and mechanics. These remakes are entertaining enough, but with one foot in the past, Crypto just can’t fulfil his potential.

Whilst the updated visuals and much improved control scheme are welcome touches, the cracks start to show quickly as it doesn't do anything to improve on the PS2 original's gameplay. However, this is still an easy one to recommend if you fancy something simple, but fun.

Overall, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed is a decent remake. It’s nothing too special but nothing too bad either. I would probably say it’s better than an average remake. The biggest win for me here is that they’ve stuck with good performance over better visuals, kept the soul of the original source material, and it plays like the original but with far better visuals and some small gameplay improvements. Voice acting is also solid, and the dialogue is a breath of fresh air. While it does has its cringe here and there, it’s still funny and goofy in its own way.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a faithful remake that does not attempt to drastically change the original game, focusing instead on improving and expanding upon the first game. A game for the fans. Fun, funny, and chaotic.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a saucy game full of foul-mouthed characters and silly antics. Fans of the original, which I'm definitely one of, will love this new remake that totally revamps the graphics while retaining the classic gameplay. It's too bad the game is so bug-ridden though as those moments stunk of serious Ark-doo-doo. Still, with probing this fun, I was easily compelled to see this invasive operation all the way through.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed brings fun and simple gameplay that is just enough for one playthrough. But the possibility of returning to any location and mission with friends adds a new dimension to the game. We recommend the game with 7 points out of 10.

Destroy All Humans 2! – Reprobed is a good gaming distraction. It handles its mechanics relatively well, has a decent flow, and this remake looks really great on modern formats with some stunning 4K shine. Much like its predecessor, however, it is beginning to show its age, struggling with performance and crashes as well as dated humour, and so the hope remains for an all-new entry that really shows off the potential of the franchise on current-gen hardware.

The updated graphics look good but the limitations of the gameplay of the era do show as it would be nice to have a bit more options with the movement of the Saucer during missions.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed is extremely accurate to the original version. This can make the game come off as old and outdated. But for some, that nostalgia kick may hit just the right spot. As it stands, those who loved Destroy All Humans 2! on consoles should consider Reprobed if they can no longer access their older devices. But the remake doesn’t do enough to change things up, and those who never experienced the game in 2006 may be easily put off.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed has managed to deliver the nostalgia for players, and it was strange but fun at the same time to play a classic on a current-gen console platform. Although, there are some areas that needed improvement, which would have made the experience far much greater. However, for the money, it’s pretty steep, especially for a game which had originally released two generations ago.

Evaluating Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is a difficult task. On one hand, it does a great job of updating a 2006 game to match, at least, the visual standards of modern gaming, but on the other, it never took the chance to make sure that the gameplay and writing are of similar quality. Even if the intention was to retain that B-movie style, this remaster just feels like a missed opportunity that makes it quite difficult to have your mind blown in face of an alien threat – unless you’ve always been a fan.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed, apart from being a faithful remake, is also a very faithful continuation of last year's Destroy All Humans! and this has the result of seeing a very clear but also without many surprises project.

The remake of the original achieved a lot of positive reviews. Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed, sadly suffers from a number of remakes being released. I believe these should be judged individually and not review bombed on sites without experiencing the game. I contacted THQ Nordic regarding the problem with rendering within cut scenes, and it is being worked on so expect a patch in the not too distant future. This was the only aspect of the game that for me was a negative. Destroy All Humans 2 was the last game that was featured on the PlayStation so this may mark the last outing for Crypto unless a new title is created. The characters, and the inuendo’s within provide the comic value. This is alongside a really good and enjoyable adventure and for this reason I award Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed the Thumb Culture Gold Award

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed has been improved upon and offers some great comedic writing for its characters and some solid action but is limited by its 2007 origins.

As a remake of a 2006 title, Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed is almost perfect. However, while it's still a lot of fun, it doesn't take much time at the controls to see the inherent limitations of a game from another era.

Like its predecessor, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is another fine example of a remake done right by modernizing the gameplay and graphics but respecting the overall experience.

Destroy All Humans 2 is a fun game you can play with no trouble and immediately feel like an endgame character of other open-world games. A forgettable story, but fun mechanics warrant a visit to a strange new world.
