Hogwarts Legacy gives us the best wizarding world experience we have ever had in a video game. You get to have the full Hogwarts student experience with free roam of the castle and grounds. There are so many fun side quests and activities to enjoy while also hunting for secrets and mysteries in the environment. The story is a little dull and some enemies can be bullet sponges but it does not spoil the fantastically magical adventure that this game offers.
Hogwarts Legacy beautifully captures the awe-inspiring magic and wonder of the Harry Potter movies and the Wizarding World. It's a massive, densely packed RPG with so much care and passion poured into it by Avalanche Software.
As a Harry Potter fan, it’s extremely hard not to love the game. Was the game everything I hoped it would be? Probably not. It’s palpable how much the developers played on the nostalgia of the fandom. That being said, the game offers just enough to feel like you’re a part of the Wizarding World, while giving the opportunity for enjoyment to those who are not familiar with the books and movies. Hogwarts castle, the possibility to cast spells and brew potions, to fly and wander around the Highlands overshadow the minor technical issues and a shallow plot. Warner Bros. is already hinting at a sequel, and I’m sure that the next game will be an even bigger success. From one fan to another: I solemnly swear that Hogwarts Legacy is an enchanting adventure that will transport you to the Wizarding World and leave you spellbound.
Hogwarts Legacy is the perfect gift for the long-time fans of the franchise, but simply an alright game for everyone else. There are some technical issues, but they don't really spoil the experience.

For people like myself who already know the wizarding world of Harry Potter, who have devoured the books and scoured the films, Hogwarts Legacy is close to being a full five-star game. Just being able to stroll through the halls of Hogwarts, admiring the moving paintings and the obscene amounts of detail that Avalanche have put into it, is probably worth the price of entry alone. The fact that you’re getting a really good open-world game on top of it with fun combat is just the icing on the conjured cake. Sadly, though, I don’t think Hogwarts Legacy delivers on its story premise.
As a fifth-year student, you're new to Hogwarts. Together with your professor you have discovered the existence of ancient magic. Now you must find out the secret of this magic together and make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Hogwarts Legacy is a beautiful game that, thanks to its open world RPG, finally makes it possible to roam freely in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the Scottish highlands. The combat system is well put together and the game provides an immersive experience. Highly recommended to play for anyone with even the slightest interest in the Wizarding World.

Welcome to Hogwarts Legacy, a chance to experience all the wonders that Hogwarts (amongst other areas) has to offer. Starting out your journey in Central London, you’re quickly whisked off on a wonderous adventure full of excitement. You’ll soon find yourself at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best surprises I’ve experienced in some time. Despite being a muggle through and through, it fully engrossed me in its world and filled me with a child-like charm that I haven’t felt from any other recently released game.
With very high expectations, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy manages to surprise the player both in terms of its narrative and the fully explorable universe. The title offers dozens of hours of quests in addition to the little secrets hidden everywhere. If you are a Harry Potter fan, there is no doubt that you will be charmed by this successful adaptation. Flaws such as certain parts of the interface or the underused equipment system do not allow the overall experience to be tarnished. Hats off to the studio team at Avalanche Software who had a huge order and managed to meet the challenge. No doubt more content will be added in the future especially with the current commercial and critical success.

Hogwarts Legacy is a fantastic magical experience that every lover of the saga would love to try sooner or later. Hogwarts Castle and every glimpse of it are beautifully recreated, allowing you to experience the Wizarding World to its fullest. However, there are some minor technical issues, nothing that cannot be solved with future updates.

Hogwarts Legacy wants to offer a certain fantasy and does it purposefully and successfully. It is the "Harry Potter" game that the average fan has always dreamed of. The metaphor of the universe is done very aptly and the game world is for me, its greatest achievement. Beautiful and lively, it is, I would say, in itself a reason to deal with it, even if he is not particularly moved by Harry Potter. Beneath this shiny wrapper, there is a well-realized but trivial open world world that carries with it almost all the pathogenesis of the genre, while, narratively, although it has good times, the main story moves in shallow water. Despite its striking weaknesses, however, it is so extensive and meticulously constructed that I consider that as a whole, it fulfills its purpose.

Hogwarts Legacy is a thrilling and immersive game that takes players on a journey through the wizarding world of Harry Potter. With its rich and detailed world, deep spellcasting system, and engaging combat, the game offers players a wealth of content to explore and engage with.
Hogwarts Legacy impressed me, and not just as a lifelong fan. I especially loved its dedication to exploration and puzzle solving, two things modern RPGs are finding less and less time for. I think it’s possibly the best RPG for newcomers to the genre and people who don’t otherwise play RPGs. Unlike most RPGs, setting the difficulty to Story doesn’t invalidate everything. With Hogwarts Legacy, there’s still plenty of game to explore and puzzles to solve. You can still have a fun fulfilling gameplay experience, without complicated combat getting in the way.
Hogwarts Legacy introduces the fundamentals to provide an array of elements to bestow one of the best experiences in history. No question, it is worthy of being a GOTY 2023 contender. It’s a masterpiece and will undoubtedly become one of the greatest games of all time.
There’s a whole bunch of Easter eggs here, not to mention an expansive world brimming with secrets and plenty of busywork to keep you playing long after the main quest has finished. The combat is pretty fun, especially late on when you can mix and match spells, and you can tell a lot of care and attention has been putting into this. Hogwarts Legacy isn’t the best open world game on the market but it is a surprisingly polished experience and the perfect thrill-ride for Potter fans.
