Another Fisherman's Tale Reviews
A charmingly narrated VR puzzle game, with some interesting mechanics, but it's let down by mechanical difficulties and occasionally insufficient signposting.
A good example of how to use virtual reality in stimulating and creative ways. Its control and the "abstract" of some puzzles can be scary, but the trip is well worth it.

The strong point of Another Fisherman's Tale certainly lies in the narrative. Indeed, in the metanarrative. The puzzles are not a miracle, and it almost seems that the developers have calibrated the duration of the game to avoid excessive repetitions. The two or three central chapters are spectacular and in practice alone would be worth the price of admission.

Another Fisherman’s Tale is every bit as worthy of your time as the first.
Another Fisherman's Tale may not win any awards for visuals or reinvent the wheel in gameplay. Nevertheless, the love Vertigo Games put in shines through. The story is flawless and the gameplay, while relatively simple, serves its purpose without getting in the way of itself. Another Fisherman's Tale is a beautiful game that deserves your time on PSVR2.
Another Fisherman's Tale eventually tells a heartwarming story that many people will relate to, but whether or not they stick with it to the end is the big question. The narrative feels contorted to accommodate the gameplay, which itself stales rather quickly, and by the time it gets on track the game is over.
Another Fisherman's Tale proved to be a sequel that lived up to expectations. The duration of the adventure finally does justice to the value of the production, while the new mechanics based on the ability to manipulate the body of the protagonist guarantee a fresh and original approach to solving puzzles.

Another Fisherman's Tale is a charming, unique, and well-crafted puzzle game with creative set pieces and a heartfelt story, but unfortunately is let down by an unwieldy control scheme and a short three-to-four-hour long campaign. Still, the story of Bob and his adventures is worth diving into for its sheer creativity and uniqueness.
If you’re a fan of inventive puzzle games attached to endearing and emotionally-driven narratives, and you’re lucky enough to have the hardware required to play it, I can wholeheartedly recommend Another Fisherman’s Tale as a great way to spend a couple of hours on a lazy weekend. I truly hope the folks at InnerspaceVR can expand even further with the next title, making it bigger and more challenging, but there’s no denying the smile on my face the entire time I was playing this one.
Expertly tuned controls mixed with exploring a thought-provoking, tear-jerking and hilarious story of family and loss make Another Fisherman's Tale a must-play title.
Unexpectedly, given its predecessor's success, Another Fisherman’s Tale changes its gameplay framework, abandoning perspective and perception puzzles for more conventional ones based on physical exploration and Bob's unique dismemberment ability. While the concept works well, it suffers from imprecise controls. Nonetheless, it's an intimate, profound adventure offering emotional and entertaining moments, albeit needing a bit more polish.

Another Fisherman's Tale takes everything from the first in the series, and expands on it to create an even better experience from start to finish. Don't sleep on this, it's one of the best PSVR 2 games to date.
Innerspace, the talented team behind A Fisherman’s Tale, has once again demonstrated their mastery of creating visually stunning worlds. Another Fisherman’s Tale takes players to new and unique locations, each brought to life with meticulous detail and artistic flair. Each distinct chapter has a varied look and feel. Characters in the world look like woodcut puppets with rope-like arms and a cell-shaded painterly style. There are several objects you will interact with throughout the game like opening up boxes, pulling levers and switches, steering your boat or a crane, and more.
Another Fisherman's Tale is one of the most fun and original games I've played in VR.

Another Fisherman’s Tale is another enjoyable puzzler that introduces plenty of new ideas to keep the experience fresh and unique. It feels completely different to the first game, and whilst I’d be lying if I said I preferred it over its predecessor, it certainly offers more variety and creativity across its larger adventure. It’s not a particularly challenging experience and the controls can be a little fiddly to get used to at first, but Another Fisherman’s Tale still shines as a captivating virtual reality puzzler that showcases Innerspace VR’s creative skills as a virtual reality developer.
