I have no doubt, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is one of the funniest, most complete, and most visually beautiful arcade driving titles on the market. It is a perfect combination between being a powerful merchandising element that can well go in the Santa Claus card of the little ones in the house and at the same time, being a real challenge for any demanding player. The possibilities of customization, track editing, a full campaign and the 130 Hot Wheels make it an undisputed product. You can even play Split Screen co-op!

Hot Wheels Turbocharged: Unleashed 2 leans well on tweaks and not transformations. It is a great game that has recharged its predecessor and taken it to a new level. Graphics are visually stunning and gameplay is satisfying. The pocket-sized miniature mayhem title does well to burn rubber on the tracks and race its way into one of the most fun toy-racing games in the industry.
Hotwheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged does an amazing job in providing a mechanically and visually pleasing experience, but the campaign mode has some downsides.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is a worthy successor with plenty of new cars and customization options, fun new game modes, and even a decent single-player campaign. It improves on many of its predecessor's faults, albeit still having a few of its own.
Offering more vehicles, new environments, a story mode, and a raft of new features, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged takes what worked in the first game, and turns up the heat. As far as knockabout, fun arcade racing is concerned, this is about as good as it gets.
'Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged' is a trip of childhood nostalgia for kids who grew up wanting to slam on the gas and experience speed...but if you're someone who played the first and is looking to see what's up with the newest edition, you might fall flat at the starting line.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is a fun, nostalgic hit of fast-paced racing goodness that offers players a number of ways to have a good time. However, if you look a little closer, you can see that some of the game's paint is peeling due to the janky nature of its gameplay elements and its over-reliance on player speed rather than quality tracks. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is full of charm but fans of racing games may feel that this isn't enough for them to stick around and get turbocharged with Hot Wheels cars.
Milestone returns for another spin with Hot Wheels Unleashed – Turbocharged, which is just as fun and challenging as the first game. Only this time, there are tighter controls, so now you can't blame the game for your mishaps. For fans of Hot Wheels, there are plenty of cars and liveries to slap on them, and you won't even need to take them out of the box. Yep, it's like being a kid all over again, and that's what it's all about.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 does a great job of overcoming the original's shortcomings, and comes out as a more complete and well-rounded racing game. While it isn't immune to scrutiny and criticism, it's still a great arcade racer that's well worth trying out.
Overall, Hot Wheels Unleased 2: Turbocharged builds on the solid foundation of the first game by adding new vehicles, tracks and more importantly new race modes. While the story is bland and forgettable, the gameplay is too much fun for it to hold it back too much.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 is great fun in short bursts. The chaotic energy, ridiculous car designs, new abilities and commitment to the miniature racing aesthetic make for a bombastic racing experience, for a while. The campaign storyline left me cold, and the freedom to screw up might be fun in a silly multiplayer session but becomes annoying solo. The sheer amount of track and car customisation options should at least add longevity to the online multiplayer experience.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 is a fuller gaming experience compared to its previous game. However, for better or worse, it's still almost identical to its predecessor.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is another thrilling addition to the Hot Wheels video game franchise and is sure to appeal to any aged rev head.
The return of Hot Wheels has brought with it mixed results. The racing action is undeniably exciting and pulse-quickening, which correlates wonderfully with the nostalgia of using the real-life playsets, and the are plenty of models to collect that you'll feel spoilt for choice. However, Turbocharged is weighed down by overfamiliarity, unambitious race modes, on-track frustrations, and a sense not enough has been done to evolve this sequel. On a base-level, Turbocharged is a pleasure to play, but Milestone should try to stop toying around with this franchise, it's got the va-va-voom to be something special, but unfortunately Turbocharged isn't quite it.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is an incredibly fun arcade racer that taps into childhood memories. While the Creature Rampage story and the game itself might be catered towards kids, adults will have a blast boosting across the unique tracks. Elimination Mode should be a party-pleaser, and when crazy challenging tracks are bountifully available then full online lobbies battling it out seems like it will be a great time. Completing the entire story portion of the game took me roughly 12 hours and that was without completing every Unleashed Goal or even every race. If you attempt to completed all Unleashed goals as well as the challenges, it looks like you can easily sink 15-20 total hours into the offline story mode. No matter how you play, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 is a blast and worth a look if you're a fan of the genre or just want something different in your rotation.
All in all, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged isn’t all that different from its predecessor, but it is bigger and better in just about every way. A brand new range of environments and additional vehicle types help to keep things feeling relatively fresh. And new event types are also very much welcome. It’s the new moves at your disposal that really elevate the experience, though. Being able to jump has allowed Milestone to get even more creative when it comes to track design, and it also adds yet more depth – you have to think more about how to use your boost. This is a very worthy sequel, then. It’s just a shame you can’t carry over your vehicles from the first game.
The continuation of the car race brings diverse tracks and fun game modes, but it's a shame that it doesn't contain more significant news.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged tries hard to improve on its predecessor, and while stage designs, vehicle list and visuals are solid enough, the game becomes repetitive after a few short hours and puts a big question mark in front of its hefty price tag.
