EA Sports FC 24 Reviews
While it's sporting a new look and name, EA Sports FC 24 is a familiar and altogether solid entry in the juggernaut that is EA's annual soccer video game series. Picking up the controller for a quick session with mates feels as comfortable and natural as it ever has, with plenty of mechanical depth for hardcore football fanatics to obsess over. It's a shame that the glitches present at release can be match-ending, and placing microtransactions front-and-centre in a full-priced retail game always feels icky, but the sheer variety and quality of game modes on offer make up for these shortcomings for the most part. EA Sports FC 24 is a true celebration of the world's game, with plenty of content for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
A yearly sports title is hardly one to looks to when one thinks of gameplay updates and changes, but EA Sports FC 24 is proving to be the exception to the rule.
EA Sports FC 24 doesn't go out of its way to change too much, but it doesn't need to – the additions to Ultimate Team, refined gameplay and nicer presentation packages make it a great football sim.
FC 24 is a familiar game that once again focuses on evolution over revolution. It makes some smart tweaks and additions to existing modes but they still feel mostly the same. The game looks and feels better than ever but when you aren't in control the AI often lets you down.
On the pitch, EA Sports FC 24 provides a promising foundation for EA to build on thanks to some strong gameplay improvements, but off the pitch it still needs a bit more love.
It's almost as if the only noticeable difference between FIFA 23 and EA Sports FC 24 is the actual name change. While everything away from the pitch mostly shines (apart from the aforementioned bugs), the action on the pitch does its best to remind us that EA is not serious about making a football simulation. Instead, EA just wants to monetize their cash cow. If there's one thing we know, it's that EA will patch this game to smithereens, but this year's game is going to have the slider makers working overtime to squeeze something out of EA Sports FC 24.
Despite the name change, EA Sports FC 24 comes with basically the same flaws of the last FIFA, but we really appreciated the slower pace for the gameplay and the increased variety now possible in Ultimate Team.

EA Sports FC 24 takes a cautious approach and focuses on further improving realism. Female players will play a more prominent role in the Ultimate Team mode, bringing some changes to this popular content. Unfortunately, as a new game, it lacks significant innovation compared to FIFA 23.

FC 24 is new, but only skin deep. It brings cosmetic updates to the same old formula, while ignoring more important issues on the pitch. Sure, the gameplay gets refined little by little each year, but much remains missing in the core experience. EA prioritises its money-spinning Ultimate Team mode, but stubbornly refuses to bring new ideas to the Career mode. It's telling that FC 24 recycles the same cutscenes for transfer negotiations that we've seen in FIFA games for past three to four years. When the franchise had to move away from its FIFA branding, it presented EA a rare opportunity to forge a new identity for a series that's fast getting frustratingly familiar. That will have to wait. EA Sports FC 24 could have been so much more than what it is — the same dish with new dressing. It does not come as a surprise, though. In a rapidly changing football landscape, EA Sports FIFA has found success in consistency. And in its consistent, familiar approach, FC 24 remains preoccupied with dribbling the ball along the same lines, too scared to take a shot at goal and glory.
EA Sports FC 24 delivers an entertaining football experience, but if you're looking for a realistic simulation, you probably will be disappointed.

EA Sports FC 24 lacks identity and innovation and is stuck between a fun arcade football game and a deep simulation, eventually failing to deliver for fans of either style. EA is facing no competition for its Football game at the moment and given the commercial success of the game, the future seems darker than ever.

EA Sports FC 24 may be a new name, but it contains the very familiar game. With minor improvements across the board, and thanks to a still solid foundation, it's the annual sports entry that you'd expect, no more and no less.
New name, same beautiful game is how I'd describe EA SPORTS FC 24. There is, once again, nothing revolutionary here, although PlayStyles and HyperMotion V are to be applauded as they further blur the line between virtual and real life football.
It still isn't on the same level as other versions, but this is the narrowest the gap has been in more than a decade. If you're looking for a way to play a great soccer game on a portable system with a few compromises, this will get the job done. Hopefully this is the start of EA Sports putting out more of their library on Nintendo platforms, because I'm heartened by how EA Sports FC turned out.
EA Sports FC 24 is mostly the same FIFA experience but with a new name. FC 24 has the same game modes from Career Mode to fan favorite Ultimate Team and the new features are minimal when it comes to content. Gameplay wise, EA Sports FC 24 has seen some new additions such as Playstyles and new animations which make the game more fun to play and realistic. FC 24 surely needs some balancing updates but specially for FIFA fans, it's a game with potential.

EA Sports FC 24 has again taken advantage of being the only football game on the market. However, it's important not to overlook the areas where the game thinks about the player. Who knows, maybe one day, if we are a good boy, EA might even come up with a player-friendly soccer game..

EAFC 24 ushers in a new era of football for EA Sports. Unfortunately, the game still suffers from the same issues as its predecessor, but hopefully, these baby steps lead to great leaps for the series.
Most of the additions to this part aim to create a realistic experience, closer to simulation, taking free kicks has become more personalized, adding "style of play", advanced defense, and introducing many new skills that are very useful, but this trend makes the game mainly aimed at the competitive category, and makes the experience of playing with friends without trying to master every detail an incomplete experience. It's not that it's bad, it's an orientation, and I think this part is heading in the right way to create a beautiful experience for this kind of gameplay.

Despite the criticisms and mistakes that the franchise has dragged in its period of greatest success but also of greater comfort, EA Sports FC 24 is a good football game that demonstrates the intention to grow and fulfill the fans of the most famous and passionate sport in the world. There is a lot of content that comes from previous editions and that is inevitable, but the new thing does come out and strangely fulfills the objective of making you feel inside a new football experience that does not deny its past. There are areas to attend to and improvements to consider, but overall, EA Sports FC 24 is a solid soccer proposition that won't surprise you getting to the top right away.

Thanks to great technological enhancements, you'll enjoy the best virtual football experience in years. It's just a shame that it's all built on tweaks. Also, all the new technology is just there to improve what we already know. But we want new modes, new experiences. And that's not here.
