EA Sports FC 24 Reviews
EA Sports FC 24 is a beautiful new look for a classic that has been evolving for decades and establishing itself as the leading sports simulator on the market. With even better gameplay, more intuitive menus and more agile modes that allow you to go to the field as quickly as possible, this is the definitive proof that regardless of the name change, what matters is that the quality remains the same.

EA Sports FC 24 isn't the revolution expected with the name change; it's more like FIFA 23 with a new name and menu graphics, and minimal updates across the board. The gameplay remains largely the same: realistic and satisfying offline, chaotic online. Ultimate Team hasn't changed, Club and Volta are sidelined, and only Career mode has made some progress. The main issue, as with many sports games today, is justifying the annual €80 entry fee.

EA Sports has hit the jackpot with EA Sports FC 24, making (but without disrupting its key elements) the most authentic soccer game to date. The gameplay-although it still appears to be rather frenetic-has been slightly improved, allowing (until new updates) for better weighting of one's action, between reasoned passes and ball management (thus reducing-although it still happens during matches-the frantic runs toward the opponent's goal). Good also the physics, certainly more realistic than past chapters, while the Hypermotion V and the optimization through Opta (really incredible the movements of the game kits and hair), make the matches, even more immersive. Just as before, the major focus is on the multiplayer part and in particular on the FUT Ultimate Team mode that offers an even more complete experience thanks to the addition of women's leagues and PlayStyles/playstyles. Overall, the fact that the overall formula has not been disrupted, we like it and it will surely appeal to regulars of the “made in Canada” iteration as well.

A typical annual release with some additions and improvements but nothing that drastically changes the experience.
After a wait that hasn't been seen in years, we receive a football title that's really in good shape despite the separation from FIFA. The game has quite a few surprises and manages to entertain the user regardless of the preferred mode, even if some could have received more attention. Ultimately however, we find an updated and more balanced product compared to the recent past.

The growing popularity of this motorsport and the subsequent acquisition of Codemasters by Electronic Arts held great promise. Three years after that deal, has there really been that much progress?

Without delivering the groundbreaking hit on the table that many were expecting, EA Sports FC 24 introduces some novelties, such as Playstyles, the inclusion of women's football in Ultimate Team, and evolutionary cards. However, some aspects of gameplay, such as artificial intelligence and defense, remain problematic.

Like that team that ends up tied after wasting a penalty in the last minute, EA Sports FC 24 ended up basically staying the same as in recent years. In reality, the balance is slightly negative: if on the one hand the football matches still have a good dose of fun and we have a good variety of game modes, on the other the visuals remain dated, the online gameplay is bad and the dependence on purchases is increasing.

In Some Aspects, EA SPORTS FC 24 truly feels like a fresh take on an illustrious sports series that spanned 25 years but not without its flaws and some weird development choices in gameplay, Inclusion of women in a wrong direction in Ultimate team but it's the Career Mode who shines really well in this edition of the most popular video game of the globe

Elsewhere, a revamped tutorial is a genuine attempt to boost the skills of amateur players, making this otherwise neglected mode well worth checking out. While the enormous popularity of FUT continues to dominate the playlist, all other modes tag along as expected. Volta Football has had a little TLC but career modes continue to languish at the bottom of the table. Perhaps one day they’ll get the love they need.
Despite the drastic name change, EA Sports FC 24 doesn't represent a revolution but rather a new step forward in EA Sports' football series, with many new features and some unexpected optimisation issues. But despite the lack of courage in offering a truly innovative experience, it still remains the best choice for all soccer game fans.

EA Sports FC 24 doesn't do enough to differentiate itself from its bygone FIFA branding, though that might be a good thing for players seeking a familiar and safe football experience.
EA Sports FC 24 is the next FIFA, with all its pluses and minuses.

EA Sports FC 24 is a marginal improvement over its FIFA predecessor but still features several gameplay issues that the previous games have continued to have.
EA Sports FC 24 shows the franchise has no intention of slowing down without the FIFA license. New tweaks to popular game modes and a brand new player animation system help bring the franchise into a new era.
EA might try to convince you that its new buzzwords are actually game changing features, but it’s visually the same, and it plays extremely similarly to all previous three iterations of the game on PS5. It’s still entertaining, and avoiding FUT like the plague will give you a somewhat feature-filled and microtransaction-free experience, but it’s just a roster update with a few new teams and a bland soundtrack.
Not going to lie to you: EA Sports FC 24 has been somewhat disappointing so far. The changes aren't that big compared to last year, but there are modes that work worse, new features that irritate more than they entertain, years-old errors that still haven't been resolved and a new ugly and confusing user interface. Not everything is bad, since, if we discount the foul system, the gameplay continues to be fun and the best on the market. So, if EA Sports simulators have captivated you before, this one will too. If not, or if they are tired of the formula, then they will probably do as I did and not wait for the final whistle to leave the stadium.

EA Sports FC 24 is the best football game at the moment, but that's partly due to there not being a healthy competition. The game has evolved since last year's entry in the series, but there's still much to improve on.

EA Sports FC 24 continues the legacy of a great football game series. It's easy to pick up for anyone thanks to a good tutorial system and features addicting modes that you can take online and offline. The game's gorgeous and runs really well on the Xbox Series X. EA has made sure to entrench its football series even without the FIFA license, so I think you can continue to expect only the best from this series going forward.
EA Sports FC 24 may be a rebranding on the surface, but ultimately brings the iconic soccer/football game franchise into the modern age free from imposed constraints. The game truly goes above and beyond to stand on its own as a simulation video game. While it is nowhere near perfect, the game exceeds in everything the best of its previous iterations could offer, and then further builds onto those aspects to prove its place on the podium as the next great leap for EA Sports and Soccer Sim fans the world over. EA Sports FC 24 s a match winning title, and a veritable goal for the reworked franchise.
