There are incredible things going on in Kingdom Come: Deliverance that it's a shame I have to score it lower than I would like, due to the issues with bugs and glitches that soil the experience.

Kingdom Come is an interesting project, but with all its brilliant ideas, today it remains incredibly incomplete - especially on consoles.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance attempts to shake up the Western RPG by shedding familiar fantasy tropes and focusing on realistic mechanics and historical events.

There are a great many things to like about Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The world and environmental design is top tier, and with the support of fantastic voice-acting and combat, that (when fully functioning) plays like no other RPG becomes an enticing package. With ongoing support from the developers, Kingdom Come: Deliverance can quite easily become one of the premiere role-playing experiences and with a setting that few others have tackled will remain an enticing prospect for the months and years to come.

Any interest I had in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse has defiled and set ablaze in an incredibly shallow grave.

The rush and hastiness of Deep Silver for releasing Kingdom Come: Deliverance has made one of the most anticipated games of the year into a weak one. Although it's not too late for the devs to fix the game, this would surely affect the upcoming games of Warhorse studios.

It has its share of flaws if you can work around them and really get involved with what it has to offer, you will discover what is probably 2018's biggest surprise so far.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance delivers a fun and content-rich RPG to be explored. With a challenging combat and an impeccable historical setting, the game relies heavily on its protagonist, exposing the soul of a game that still lacks much attention and technical adjustments.

While I have come out of Kingdom Come: Deliverance somewhat disappointed, Warhorse Studios still did deliver on their original KickStarter promise of creating a realistic RPG unlike any other. While the developers did squeeze as much potential as their studio could out of this concept, to sometimes remarkable results, Kingdom Come: Deliverance may have been a tad too bit ambitious for them on a technical level, and it really shows.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is so full of issues that it's hard to sit here and tell you that it's worth the $60 (USD) price they're asking. I would strongly suggest that you wait a few months to see what sort of shape the game is in at that point in time.

KCD is a game of stark contrasts. The cutscenes, story and lore are phenomenal yet the game is unpolished, has outdated graphics and is very buggy. If you can turn a blind eye on those things it’s still a game worth playing that has a lot of content to offer.

Despite having lots of issues, Kingdom Come is still a great game. It provides exceptional content and is successful in presenting a good story and gameplay. The game creates memorable experiences for its players; in addition, a few updates can gradually convert Deliverance into a flawless title. We’ve tried our best to give the game a score with no expiry date. We do not deny the problems, yet we’re certain about one thing; if you miss playing Deliverance, you won’t have a full experience of 2018.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance strips away the fantasy from RPG and replaces it with something infinitely more dirty and relatable. This is one role-playing experience that is spilling over with ambition at every turn, even if it gets in its own way from time to time. The hardcore, survivalist, tactical players out there will likely have a field day with everything on offer in spite of the flaws present, while the rest may find themselves turned away by the cumbersome systems connecting it all.

We all have that one bar that we like to go to. The locals don’t like it very much and it’s got its problems but that is “our” bar that we’ve grown fond of. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the equivalent of that bar for me. It has its problems, some of which would be damned to hell were it any other game. Although there’s a reason you haven’t heard too much bad press about it. It’s incredibly easy to forgive the game of its failings when it offers this much quintessential RPG gameplay and fantastic world design. Warhorse Studios have taken the time to build a snapshot of today’s Czech Republic and wind back the clock on its design all the way to the 15th Century. An essential part to creating a game that feels rewarding and fun is building a learning process for the player first. A process of gradual self discovery. Kingdom Come: Deliverance offers that up in spades and if Henry sucks at fighting, flirting or horse riding it’s only because he hasn’t done enough of it. As a result, his ineptitude is never frustrating. It’s just a signal to the player that there’s a heck of a lot of grinding to be done. If you’re into that kind of thing, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is for you. It will provide you with literally hundreds of hours of taking care of Henry and sheepishly stepping into the next big event, hoping things will be OK. When all’s said and done Kingdom Come: Deliverance is nothing short of impressive and will be even more so once we get a few patches. A grown up RPG for grown up players
