There are a ton of problems with this game. While some will find enjoyment in its dedication to realistic combat, I found the majority of the massive adventure to lack lasting appeal.

Kingdom Come gives you the best opportunity to take the role of a nobody and transform them into the character you truly want to be. Despite some bugs, Kingdom Come offers hours upon hours of content and history for you to enjoy.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance transforms the mundane into something special, intertwines its mechanics with both its narrative and setting in a way that few games managed to do it.

If you look through the bugs, you will see beautiful historical based RPG game with unique charm.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an old-school RPG where everything requires an effort and you will not get anything. Its approach is remarkable, but some design and technical problems do not make it a more complete game.

Kingdom Come's rough edges are smoothed by the knowledge you're playing a game where no detail is too small. Exploring 1400s Bohemia is a sure-fire delight.

Though there are several annoying glitches, Kingdom Come: Deliverance still can be considered as a masterpiece. It is somewhat like an uncut diamond, which oozes wild but soul-shaking charms.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance delivers on its ambitious promise for a realistic, grounded open-world medieval role-playing game, with engaging and complex gameplay systems, weighty and tactical combat and an interesting main story slightly let down by a lack of polish and technical issues on launch.

At the start of this review, I said “Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game which flew well under my radar,” well skip forward to now and I can tell you Kingdom Come: Deliverance is my game of the Year so far. Sure it’s not perfect, with many glitches and an odd lock-picking and pickpocketing mechanic, but it’s the sum of the parts, rather than some of the parts, which makes Kingdom Come: Deliverance a great game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance deserves a lot of credit for succeeding in its highly ambitious and original realism-driven approach to role-playing game design, though the amount of broken quests and general lack of polish in combination with an ill-conceived save system bring down the experience significantly.

In general, therefore, we can say that Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a decidedly ambitious product, which focuses on historical realism and on a genre not so common. The basic idea, but it is not a thing: it is not a product for everyone. It is not one of those titles that you can play in fluency and carelessness, but it is a game that engages commitment and dedication as well as great attention. It is a hard, raw title that is nothing else but that, on the other hand, gives us a truly detailed historical realism and a story that will surely leave us something once it is finished. Under the narrative point of view, in fact, it is certainly very rich, offers a vast vastness of stories to relive and discover The problem remains however its realization. I'm sure the game was made. Despite having been postponed and despite all the years of Alpha, the game is not technically really ready yet. Let's forget the graphic comparison so we can even close one eye (or maybe both), but I continue to jump and drop frames, all the glitches and bugs, make the game experience less pleasant than what could have been without these errors so gross. A real shame for a project

A massive, engrossing, and immersive game with loads of content and an impressive attention to detail. Were it not for the myriad of bugs and issues this would be a true classic.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is vast and ambitious, but won't please everyone no matter how hard it tries.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is not completely awful. It's just not very good. Sure, it does have some good ideas and some interesting mechanics, but for every good idea, there are ten that are just bloody bewildering. Warhorse seems to have valued realism over fun and enjoyment with Deliverance, but to be honest, it's not even that realistic. It's just a bloody boring buggy mess of a game, but one that isn't completely terrible. Every cloud and all that.

A cross between a history book and a hack-and-slash RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance sets out to make a medieval themed game that is as historically accurate as humanly possible. It commits to the RPG system by offering roleplaying and not just combat with bits of dialogue sprinkled in, and it really immerses you in its setting. It has some rough edges but these shouldn’t distract from what is fundamentally a great game experience.

Offers up a decent, if predictable, story with interesting characters, beautiful scenery, and ambitious concepts but falls short with numerous glitches, annoying mini-games, and a lack of player immersion.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance could have been a wonderful experience. A collection of features and mechanics come together to form something truly inspiring. Sadly it's difficult to notice that with frequent crashes (don't touch the cheese), game-breaking bugs, texture issues, animation woes, AI problems, broken quests, and near pointless mounted combat. Until patches have addressed these problems, I would suggest avoiding the PlayStation 4 version.

Kingdom Come is a unique roleplaying experience, full of interesting ideas and brutal medieval atmosphere. Which would be awesome, if not for a bunch of bugs and technical issues.

I hereby commit myself: Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be one of the best games of the year 2018, even though many critics won't give it the classic statute such as The Witcher. The game doesn't explicitly stand out from the mass of RPG medieval simulations and uses many well-known mechanics, but the long development phase pays off and for what it ultimately wants to be, the game is outstanding: to offer the player the most realistic setting possible in an open world. The many remaining bugs (hopefully with enough patches to go with them) and the unfortunately flat-looking story can't fool this overall impression. Another positive aspect is that the developers have decided against an online mode that is just so popular, because they want to immerse the individual in an authentic medieval world. After some initial difficulties, this project should pay off for Warhorse and all fans if they continue to work on it.
