Its problems may deter many players and arguably should until it's in a better state, but it's hard to deny that with some more polish and a couple of tweaked systems, Kingdom Come: Deliverance could be one the year's best.
Any interest I had in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse has defiled and set ablaze in an incredibly shallow grave.
With all said and done, and despite several flaws, Warhorse Studios delivers a fantastic first game and deserves praise for Kingdom Come's successes. The issues currently present in the game are comparable to Bethesda's infamous bugs. However, even before the game's release, the developers were working hard to constantly address feedback given by the community to influence future patches that will hopefully turn Kingdom Come: Deliverance into the great experience fans believe it can be.
verall, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a rare instance of a Kickstarter game gone right. It absolutely delivers a worthwhile and truly engaging experience to it’s backers, and does so whilst being not just a fantastic video game, but also a fantastic educational tool as well. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a very welcome fusion of classic and modern open-world RPGs, and it plays mostly to it’s strengths; it’s the 1400’s time capsule I’ll happily spend 60+ hours immersed in. Yes, there are a number of technical issues still prevalent within the game, however I’m hoping that these will be patched quickly and fully – The tale of Henry is a heartfelt one, and the world of Bohemia certainly feels alive – More-so than many open world RPG’s recently released.
In general, therefore, we can say that Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a decidedly ambitious product, which focuses on historical realism and on a genre not so common. The basic idea, but it is not a thing: it is not a product for everyone. It is not one of those titles that you can play in fluency and carelessness, but it is a game that engages commitment and dedication as well as great attention. It is a hard, raw title that is nothing else but that, on the other hand, gives us a truly detailed historical realism and a story that will surely leave us something once it is finished. Under the narrative point of view, in fact, it is certainly very rich, offers a vast vastness of stories to relive and discover The problem remains however its realization. I'm sure the game was made. Despite having been postponed and despite all the years of Alpha, the game is not technically really ready yet. Let's forget the graphic comparison so we can even close one eye (or maybe both), but I continue to jump and drop frames, all the glitches and bugs, make the game experience less pleasant than what could have been without these errors so gross. Frustrating in a few ways, but Kingdom Come is clearly a labour of love. An ambitious and impressive historical RPG with some deep combat and mechanics.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an enthralling RPG experience that deserves your full attention. It's not a perfect game, but neither was The Witcher 1 and look where CD Projekt Red are now. Not only is this a game worth playing today, but I also hold strong hopes that, with a little trust and support, Warhorse Studios can blossom into the next role-playing juggernaut.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is an exciting RPG with great ambitions that wants to do many things differently, but one that also lacks polish and that got pushed on the market way too early to truly leave a mark in the role-playing genre.

Novel mechanics that allow for dynamic storytelling are what make this game. That strength lies in the small choices that you make instead of an overarching plot or theme. The kinds of armor and clothes you wear around town, what skills you choose, how you interact with local merchants all changes how the world reacts to you, to an extent greater than I’ve experienced before. In many ways, how you chose to live from day to day has more impact than the dialogue choices.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance delivers a huge, complex world with a host of things to get involved in. The story is well written, brilliantly acted and expertly executed. I am worried that the buggy nature of the game will put many off and whilst the vast majority of the problems shouldn’t worry anyone too much, it can get a tad annoying.
Despite having lots of issues, Kingdom Come is still a great game. It provides exceptional content and is successful in presenting a good story and gameplay. The game creates memorable experiences for its players; in addition, a few updates can gradually convert Deliverance into a flawless title. We’ve tried our best to give the game a score with no expiry date. We do not deny the problems, yet we’re certain about one thing; if you miss playing Deliverance, you won’t have a full experience of 2018.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a fun open-world game with great characters and an expertly delivered story. It has a few mechanics that may turn players off, but they become manageable with a little effort.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance can proudly stand in the company of giants such as the Elder Scrolls series, even surpassing the latest entries in that venerable franchise when it comes to immersion and player agency.
There are a great many things to like about Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The world and environmental design is top tier, and with the support of fantastic voice-acting and combat, that (when fully functioning) plays like no other RPG becomes an enticing package. With ongoing support from the developers, Kingdom Come: Deliverance can quite easily become one of the premiere role-playing experiences and with a setting that few others have tackled will remain an enticing prospect for the months and years to come.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance strips away the fantasy from RPG and replaces it with something infinitely more dirty and relatable. This is one role-playing experience that is spilling over with ambition at every turn, even if it gets in its own way from time to time. The hardcore, survivalist, tactical players out there will likely have a field day with everything on offer in spite of the flaws present, while the rest may find themselves turned away by the cumbersome systems connecting it all.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is so full of issues that it's hard to sit here and tell you that it's worth the $60 (USD) price they're asking. I would strongly suggest that you wait a few months to see what sort of shape the game is in at that point in time.

Time and time and again even after frustration I kept going back to give the game a chance. And each time I come out just frustrated. My recommendation? Wait a few months for Warhorse Studios to fix everything before buying it. You’re just gonna be turned away from the game. Even then, be prepared for a massive patch to download.
Despite the drawbacks of ambitious endeavors, Kingdom Come: Deliverance succeeds in bringing a believable medieval world to the player.
