Ready or Not is a huge hit and offers a unique experience unlike most FPS games. It allows players new to CQB to enjoy playing with friends.

An intriguing tactical shooter that embraces the precious SWAT legacy, offering a layered and challenging gameplay. It still lacks some polishing and we can't say that every idea got to achieve its full potential, but this is definitely an interesting and compelling gameplay experience for players that love to think before shooting.

Ready or Not has the potential to be something special, but it currently feels like a missed opportunity.
Ready or Not absolutely nails the feeling of being in an Elite SWAT unit, packing mass appeal for tactical shooter fans.
Putting you in control of a SWAT team, Ready or Not tasks you with diffusing a variety of hostile situations. As you'd expect, it's a tense and atmospheric affair, where making effective use of commands is a must. And while I think it particularly shines in single-player, you can still have fun online if you can get a good team together.
Ready or Not is an excellent cooperative first-person shooter. The immersion is fantastic, with outstanding realism. There are many moments of tension and team communication. However, there are some issues, such as the single-player bots being quite difficult to control. Furthermore, the game was clearly designed for five players, so many levels become unnecessarily long and difficult with fewer players.

Ready or Not successfully imports the moment-to-moment gameplay and intensity of the classic SWAT franchise, but without much innovation and a host of major AI issues this tactical shooter was seemingly not quite ready to breach out of Early Access.
With its clever scenarios and sense of randomness, Ready or Not offers an exciting team-based tactical shooting formula that's great fun. đ«
Ready or Not is a fairly solid team shooter that offers an enjoyable loop and a fun bonding experience between friends and players wherever they play. The objectives offer interesting risk vs reward across the varied settings and the feel and strategy that goes into each breach and cover forces you to think on the spot, but random enemy phasing, text sizing, graphical and performance issues and some fatigue in mission length and presentation â as well as the apparent, random downgrading of the game â mean this isnât quite the smooth ride weâd like it to be. Still, itâs a fun time that we think will have a long-term fantastic home on consoles.
Ready or Not arrives on Xbox as a must-have title for fans of tactical action, police simulation, and online cooperation. Its demanding gameplay, slow pace, and constant need to make decisions make it a unique offering in the current catalog.

Ready or Not is a gritty, immersive tactical shooter that excels in realism and tension. Itâs best experienced with friends, where coordination and chaos create unforgettable moments. While the single player feels more like a training ground, the multiplayer delivers the full thrill. The gameâs depth, from loadout customisation to career tracking, offers plenty for strategy fans. But technical issues, frustrating AI, and DLC-locked content may test your patience. If youâre after a serious cop simulator with high stakes and atmospheric gameplay, Ready or Not is worth a shot, just be ready to adapt when things go sideways.
Ready or Not scratches a tactical shooter itch that the gaming world forgot they had - a one-game genre revival.
Ready or Not has quickly breached its way into one of my most played games of the year. I can see myself going back to it time and time again, trying to beat my scores and playing on higher difficulties. The range of options and the seemingly random generation on levels make each run a fresh and terrifying experience in equal amounts. Run-and-gun fans need not apply. But if you think you've got what it takes to command the situation and make the toughest decisions, I have but one thing to ask you: are you Ready or Not?
Ready or Not is a bold and satisfying return to tactical shooters. With deep, realistic gameplay and solid level design, it delivers a tense and rewarding experience â especially in singleplayer. While the technical side shows its indie roots and the story is nearly absent, the core gameplay is strong enough to make it a standout in the genre.

Overall, I donât think I was ready for Ready Or Not. Either that, or Ready Or Not wasnât entirely ready to release. There are some real glaring issues that make the experience less than enjoyable, while there are significantly fewer aspects that genuinely build on making this game as good as it could be. As someone whoâs generally not a fan of PVP, Ready Or Not seemed like the perfect alternative to Rainbow Six Siege X, but maybe it was not ready after all.
Ready or Not delivers a brilliantly tense and tactical shooter experienceâflawed by technical issues but elevated by its hardcore design, intense atmosphere, and the sheer fun of playing with friends.

Ready or Not has arrived on consoles with a streamlined package that preserves much of its original essence. Even though some details have been altered, the core challenge of entering a building full of armed men, surviving gunfire, and rescuing hostages remains just as rewarding as before. Despite some launch issues â such as lost save files and the already mentioned censorship accusations â the game remains one of the most visceral simulation experiences available on consoles, making it a great choice for fans of the genre.

Voice chat issues aside, Ready or Not really captured our imagination, and even when you get taken down in a mission, the spectator mode is almost as thrilling due to the tension in-game, as you will your team mates to make it through. Thereâs a grittiness to Ready or Not that bleeds through all aspects of the game and make it a serious contender in the world of online co-op tactical action titles, with the narrative thread also making it a recommendation if you intend on playing in single player mode, and if you are really keen on it â there is already a load of DLC to devour. Good!
Ready or Notâs intense, grounded scenarios and razor-sharp focus on tactical decision-making created a level of immersion Iâve rarely felt in games â especially for someone whoâs never touched this genre before. Playing solo is gripping, but diving into co-op with friends takes it to a whole new level, delivering moments of tension, chaos, and genuine teamwork that feel straight out of a crime thriller. It has some small imperfections, sure, but the highs far outweigh the lows and make for a tactical-shooting experience that I absolutely loved.
The arrival of Ready Or Not on Xbox is exciting, but also a foreboding one. The underlying vibes and environmental storytelling are outstanding, and this immersion can be tucked away without notice if you arenât paying attention. Levels are varied and some can be outright horrifying, which will keep you on your toes during every mission. Ready Or Not isnât for gamers who want an easy breezy and relaxing time â itâs a relentless tactical shooter where youâll need to pay attention at all times and work with others to survive. Teamwork is satisfying as you clear out rooms, arrest people and bag evidence â though if youâre yearning for some variety or a break from the norm, Ready Or Not might not do the trick for you. Altogether though, Ready Or Not is satisfying and has been created with attention to detail at its forefront â though its gameplay couldâve done with more excitement and variation.
