The action, while entertaining, is a bit of a drag. There are also bugs and glitches. There are more minor flaws like this, and they spoil the overall experience. But at its core, it's a fun multiplayer game with well-designed mechanics and well-balanced sides.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game uses an already established formula from a different source material. It's a simple game that can be interesting for those who like asymmetrical multiplayer, but there are numerous balance and variety issues that greatly affect the game itself.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is the game I never knew I wanted and needed. It takes all the great characteristics of similar titles and runs with them in its own unique way. It is way more fun to experience this with a group of friends but I found myself also having a great time when I played alone. The teams have done an amazing job of ensuring that both the humans and clowns have a fair balance in the gameplay loop, neither side ever felt more overpowered than the other. Bring with this an addictive levelling system that can feel a bit of a grind but extends the longevity of the game. With the greatest visuals I’ve seen in a game in this genre and you have an excellent asymmetrical horror title of cat and mouse that is just a great time!

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a nice addition to Illfonic's asymmetrical horror PvP catalogue, adding some interesting mechanics by pushing players to co-operate and feel much more a part of the game at all times. On the other hand, content is scarce, and in a few hours the game has nothing really new to offer. Perhaps, the team will focus on an extensive post-launch support to enrich the content, but only time will tell.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is, in my opinion, a breath of fresh air for the asymmetrical horror genre. It introduces a lot of new elements, such as the ability for survivors to fight back and the fact that players who are dead can still contribute to their teammates. Additionally, the community, at least at the moment, isn’t too competitive. This gives the game a light-hearted atmosphere that perfectly matches the theme. There are still a few small improvements that could be made, such as a tutorial for beginners and better combat controls, but overall, I think the game has set a new standard for its genre.

Killer Klowns offers an incredibly enjoyable experience that is ultimately marred by game-breaking bugs, constant disconnects, and a general lack of polish. Things such as locking doors not having an animation, and overall jankiness. This prevents Killer Klowns from reaching the heights it should with both the amusing gameplay and quirky IP. Unfortunately, in this state I have to award Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game the Thumb Culture Bronze Award. I’d love to revisit this review of the game and award it based on the gameplay in the future.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game has all the makings of a great asymmetrical multiplayer game, and it could very well replace most of the current fan favourites. Even if you’re only playing with a small group of friends, the random rotation of who plays on what team and the variety of options to escape will help keep it feeling fresh. The different classes, both Klowns and Humans, offer new challenges and hurdles, and no escape attempt will ever feel the same.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game has some creative ideas that wonderfully pay homage to the cult classic film. The Klowns look fantastic and the Klowntalities are fun to watch, but there are still just too many issues that keep it from being something truly special. Playing as the Humans feels like a huge disadvantage unless you can get a good crew together that communicates well. It’s a shame that this game feels like it’s so empty right off the bat because there are some fun times to be had if you can get matched up with other real players and not all bots.

A thrilling multiplayer horror game with enough thrown in the cotton candy machine to spit out plenty of fun, unique gameplay moments, and enticing progression that promises to hook us in further. But the overall experience is only good while the community remains active and lobbies fill up, making it a fight for the team to compel new players to stave off the Klownpocalypse!

With an unusual proposal, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is a fun asymmetrical multiplayer game. The levels of action and strategy are balanced, providing competitive matches, although very dependent on the other players in the room. The fight between clowns and humans could also have provided more game options, but at least what we have available is a great choice for fans of competitive and different titles.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game nails the tone and aesthetic of its inspiration, and delivers periodic amusement throughout, though also demonstrates the limitations of a gameplay template that’s starting to feel a little stale.

From the moment you step into the game, the nostalgic allure of the '80s film is palpable. A commendable entry in the asymmetrical multiplayer genre that combines a deep respect for its source material with inventive gameplay mechanics, resulting in a game that is as entertaining as it is chaotic.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space The Game, much like the movie, is an acquired taste, and in very similar fashion, if you’re in the right mind and are among a group that knows what they are in for and are game, there’s a very good time to be had with it. The potential is there, same way as other games in the niche, for this to be a hit, and it’ll all fall to whether or not folks will buy into it. I for one will enjoy seeing how it all plays out as it hits retail.

Killer Klowns from outer Space - The Game is a solid asymmetrical horror shooter that lacks polish and sometimes liveliness, but not humor.
