In the end, Zenless Zone Zero gives you a chance to bring down your foes in the most stylish ways imaginable, all thanks to a dynamic and exhilarating combat system. Regrettably, this is the lone highlight in a game that’s marred by questionable design choices and limited exploration. As someone who’s put in countless hours into F2P games, including Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, this youngest child in the family is unlikely to step out of the shadows of its older and more successful siblings. Indeed, if you still enjoy other F2P or live-service games out there, it’s hard to recommend investing your time into Zenless Zone Zero at this current stage.

While I can't shake off the feeling that Zenless Zone Zero suffers from a certain lack of investment, I can't see myself dropping the game either, if this initial version is representative of what awaits in future updates.

As another masterpiece from miHoYo, Zenless Zone Zero is definitely an action RPG worth experiencing. The distinct art style and high production quality make playing the game as enjoyable as watching a favorite anime series. Its low entry barrier and stylish, smooth controls, along with a combat system that is simple yet sophisticated, provide continuous positive feedback.

Zenless Zone Zero is another center for Hoyoverse, which has managed to create a free-to-play with a simple but not at all monotonous combat system. The variety of characters and actions at our disposal makes every fight fun to play and spectacular to look at, thanks also to a truly incredible technical and artistic sector for a free game.

Its simple but precise combat system, detailed world, and stunning presentation make Zenless Zone Zero better than most current generation console games. Despite some minor performance issues, Zenless Zone Zero delivers an experience to as close as others in its class, i.e. Senran Kagura.

A fun action adventure game with a cool combat system and cute characters. Just do not quit the game immediately because of episodes with TVs. After the first chapter they get better and the combat system becomes much deeper, therefore there appears a desire to collect characters and upgrade them.

Zenless Zone Zero is the most stylish gacha game with it's lively, charming cast and vibrant colorful art style and most importantly an extremely F2P friendly environment, the only catch here is the repetitive Rogue-Lite Hollow Exploration that don't hold up too well

The strength of ZZZ lies in its combat system, which stands out as the best among all previous titles made by Mihoyo. There's a hope that the developers won't overlook the game's progression and narrative, focusing too heavily on merely adding new characters to banners—a critique previously aimed at Genshin Impact. Despite concerns, the current player's experience has been incredibly engaging, playing almost daily since the game's launch, with no signs of this changing soon.

Despite the warning about the gambling mechanics, I still very much enjoy playing it every day and do recommend playing the game. The combat is some of the best I have experienced in years and think the more mellow moments between the very engaging story is worth your time. It currently has over 50 million downloads, and that success is very much earned from the game’s sheer quality, and breadth of content. To the finer details, like the stellar voice acting from the entire English voice cast, amazingly expressive animation, and top-notch soundtrack. It is free-to-play, so if you can restrain from falling prey to the gambling mechanics, you have nothing to lose.

Zenless Zone Zero had the potential to be another well-rounded game by HoYoverse, but its development ultimately felt rushed. While I loved the idea behind it, I could only admire a few aspects, such as the combat, city design, and art style. Aside from these, it was an underwhelming experience for me. I often criticize the current state of Genshin Impact, apart from the Archon quests, but Zenless Zone Zero despite being new is already lifeless.

MiHoYo did it again! Zenless Zone Zero is an exceptionally entertaining game that has everything to keep you engaged for days, if not weeks. Zenless Zone Zero is considerably more compact compared to something like Genshin Impact, but that doesn’t diminish the fun. In fact, we see it as a positive aspect since the game offers much more structure than the massive world of Genshin Impact. The combat is solid (though somewhat simplistic), and the world-building is excellently crafted. That said, the labyrinth and HDD issues take up too much time and are quite dull compared to the rest of the game. However, they serve as a mechanism for the combat, which is enjoyable thanks to the diverse cast of quirky characters. Naturally, this is a live service game, but we can conclude that you can complete it without spending a single cent. Of course, you're regularly reminded that the game is even more fun if you spend some money, but that is entirely optional. Now, we’re waiting to see what the future holds for Zenless Zone Zero, but as of writing, it looks promising!

Zenless Zone Zero offers a fun combat system with various gameplay options. Overall, I was impressed with the game's music, environment, and art direction. I expect to return to this game for years to come, even though I don't consider myself a Gacha fan.

After numerous hours bouncing between fun, if repetitive combat, and annoying characters occupying a forgettable story, Zenless Zone Zero falls well short of what it needs to be.

There does not appear to be much more I can say about Zenless Zone Zero other than to reiterate my views on topics on which many people agree since it has only recently been released and has limited material that will be expanded upon in future updates. Because of my own tastes and expectations, I found the experience to be insufficient. Still, if Hoyoverse wishes for the fans of their previous games to deeply care about this newly released one, they should consider changing things quite a bit.

Zenless Zone Zero, unsurprisingly, is another very good game from Hoyoverse. A great atmosphere, an interesting combat system, a typical Persona-like world and, unfortunately, a rather mediocre TV system inside Hollows together create a high-end experience, despite a few small stumbles.

Zenless Zone Zero is absolutely stacked with fun content and despite some technical issues, HoYoverse fans and newcomers are going to be in for a treat.

While hardcore action gamers may not find the game too deep, ZZZ’s combat is meaty enough to warrant repeated playthroughs and try out different character combinations. Despite its platinum shackles, there’s much fun to be had in following the cyberpunk anime adventures of Wise and Belle: video renters by day, rogue navigators by night.

While I personally really like the combat, characters, and presentation, the grid exploration and parts of the story can feel weak.
